That's our daily routine...
My BF does all of the cooking, cleaning, shopping, errand-running, etc.
Maybe I should have been the one to cook dinner last night, huh?
Hmmmmm.....
I would say 2 days if it is just routine lab work. .
The lab probably has it completed the day they receive it. The reason I say it may take 2 days is because it might take a day or two for the doctor to review results and get them in your medical record. Special tests might take longer.
It hasn't effected by routine....sm
Not like a do a lot of beauty routine anyway seeing as how I work at home, but when I do put on makeup and stuff I haven't changed anything.
You do know, don't you that tests for HIV
can take some time to show (unless they have really new and improved methods)- can give you a false-positive also. The way it used to be was it could take months for the virus to show up- if anyone has any updates on this they can say so. As far as his showing you lab tests-you know he does not have to do this, right? He is under no obligation to turn over his own medical records to you, even if he does have them done in the first place. From what you say, I doubt very seriously he would abide by your asking him to do this.
blood tests
HIV...period...
I have a 14 imagine that. I don't like tests either. nm

Not Hashimoto's but thyroid and the tests I had done
were not only the T-3 and T-4, which by the way were fine, but the testing more extensive- I have all the symptoms you have and this particular physician ordered thyroid peroxidase, normal is 0-34 and mine was 283! My Synthroid increased but really cannot tell any difference. The only thing not bothered with a lot is fatigue. I have hair coming out, dry skin, cold year 'round. Ask for this additional test, like I said regular tests on me ok but this not. By the way, this was not an endocrinologist but a dermatologist I went to for something totally unrelated.
He also does feild trials and tests (sm)
Usually gets up very early to travel to those..I would have to get up very early and take the kids with us. He also hunts deer, turkeys, rabbits, and sometimes alligator. Frequently charters fishing trips with his friends. It is an absolute obsession. He tells me that he "doesn't see how it affects me." The cruelty to the animals bothers me tremendously.
First off, what kinds of tests have the docs run???....sm
When my son Adam was 14, he came down with severe aches, light sensitivity, sore throat off and on, EXTREME FATIGUE, etc. His doctor suspected mono and did a Monospot to check this out, complete white count with diff, and also EB virus serologies. and Yup, he did have mono, it took a couple of months to get him over the worst. Lots of rest, good eating habits, and multivitamins is all you can do until the virus gets erradicated. And no contact sports or heavy activities, because the spleen gets very enlarged during mono and they worry about rupture with a blow, etc.
If no tests have been done, I would get a good pediatrician ASAP who will do a CBC with diff, white count, sed rate, UA, EBV serologies and Monospot, and get him diagnosed!! The ear thing may or may not be a part of this, could be a concurrent illness on its own, but if he has been this sick this long, "guessing" at the etiology is wasting time, you need to know for sure what exactly is wrong with your son to treat him properly.
Not trying to be an alarmist, but have raised two and my third is 11 right now so have been through the Streps, pneumonias, my third baby was born with vesicoureteral reflux and needed prophylactic antibiotics the first year of life (he outgrew it right after that, thank God, but we spent 8 days of he!! in the hospital as they put the 3-week old through spinal taps and ALL TYPES of tests, two weeks in hospital with my little girl at 5 years with severe double pneumonia, etc!). Hopefully, if it is mono/EBV, he will recover really quickly, but YOU also need to put your mind at rest, too! Take good care of each other, and update us, okay??? God Bless
I have taken many drug tests for many jobs...
and never felt like a criminal. It is just the way things are. I would far rather have drug users weeded out of medical positions, welfare and unemployment than to not take the test. I don't know why anyone who does not use drugs would feel humiliated by taking a test. Just my opinion.
last night the tests were back from the "air" testing...sm
They tested the air in the trunk to see if there was really human decomposition. They didn't know for sure but one station was reporting that it was. As of last night they were still waiting on the DNA results of the hair samples from the trunk also. Apparently they can tell if it was from a dead/decomposing body and of course whether or not it was the baby's. Maybe those came back. Oh! The guy who posted her bond said last night that he was going to revoke it. I'll bet that's it.
It was so obvious right from the beginning that she was a lying sack of sh**! First of all, what mother just "looks for" her missing baby for a month without calling the police? or even telling her own mother? Then, what kind of freakin' human being goes out partying just DAYS after her baby is missing????? Not only that but she also had a FEW boyfreinds during it all. Men would be the last thing on my mind and I might be drinking but it sure wouldn't be because of partying. I'd be drinking myself into oblivion and that's only if you could get me out of bed and stopped crying for any amount of time. I wouldn't be able to function if my little girl disappeared. Even with the lame excuse that she gave about some babysitter taking her. If that were the case, then I'd be flamining hot and on a murderous hunt day and night, not even stopping to sleep. I'd find the woman my damn self and put my own justice on her not evening thinking twice about it. I'd spend the rest of my life in prison if it meant saving my baby or avenging any suffering she had gone through!
There isn't even words to explain how I feel about her! That poor baby girl doesn't deserve what she is getting right now, being treated like a bag of garbage and left to rot somewhere!!!! Casey will get what she deserves in prison though, I can almost guarantee that. And I don't mean by the courts or our so called justice system. The women in there will give her the justice she deserves! You can bet on it!
Glad to hear your tests turned out good..
I wonder if some people are more susceptible to cysts than others? Have you had anymore cysts?
I have one on my head (hidden under hair), a lipoma on my forearm (need to get it x-rayed though as it has been driving me crazy lately) and an ovarian cyst (My GYN left it in place just in case it was helping the pregnancy). I found out about the ovarian cyst when I was pregnant for my twins. They were actually triplets at first (with one growing in the tube) so at 6 weeks, we had to have surgery. I was heartbroken to lose a baby but feel so blessed and lucky that the other 2 made it and have done well since. They are now 2 strong, active little boys and were 1 day from being full-term :)
