You might try Dune (sm)
I think that's the age my son first read it. He absolutely loved it. A male friend of my daughter's (when she was in HS and probably read it in the 16 to 16 yo range) swears by the Dune series to this day.
I couldn't get past the first page... maybe it's a guy thing ;-)

I love their lipsticks and lip glosses also. I like the darker shades like shades of brown or pinks for summer. they have pretty good staying power. a bit expensive though but worth it!
I have a couple Dior suits, very nice and - sm
well made. I have also Shelli Segal and Laura Ashley though they are not on the same page as Dior, etc, of course. I have a purse I bought at a craft show years ago for about $125, the artisen making them sells similar ones now for about $350. Mine still looks great and it is unique to say the least.
Chanel Allure or Christian Dior's Ja'dore.
