Donating or getting rid

Has anyone here used 1-800gotjunk to get rid of stuff either moving or otherwise? If so how much is a reasonable price that they give?

Has anyone used a Salvation Army truck pickup to donate their stuff too? I know they don't charge to take away.

I rather not freecycle or have a yardsale if I can unload this stuff the other way. Basically it is good furniture that a dorm or a center can utilize. All in good condition to use.

I would appreciate any replies.
