Don't know about induction range

but I love my gas stove. The control is unlike electric. I wonder if you couldn't go to a store (or call a few) for a demonstration. It could be as simple as boiling water to see how it works. From what I understand that is the "thing" with induction ranges is the control and speed so I would think they would be able to demonstrate it for you to see.

Don't know what price range
you're looking at, but my husband is a vet, not in private practice anymore, and people used to give him gift certificates to Omaha Steaks, which he loved, and sometimes gave them himself to clients.  I think sometimes they run specials on their website and could maybe get something for under 50 or 40.  Another thing he really liked when in private practice, but he was large animal kind of out in the boonies, was Schwann's (sp).  He said he used to keep a refrigerator with  food and treats from Schwann's in case he couldn't leave and his people had to stay over to help.
what price range...I see they are very expensive
I need a great shampooer.
It depends on your income range sm
I just got my taxes back and I had IC and employee income on there totally $38K. I worried. End result? $298 more to pay in, a VERY far cry from the $8K I paid in each of the last 2 years as an IC. (I have no expenses to speak of, no mortgage or rent, which really hurts as an IC.)

While on the phone with the tax accountant, I asked if withholding had changed. He said yes for most segments of the so-called middle class. He said that while I lived well and had the biggest ever year as an MT, my income is considered the low end of the middle class, so I get a break. I have noticed about a $100 INCREASE in my paychecks from lower withholding.

This is going to depend on your income range to some extent and also how you have your W-4 set. Mine is single with no exemptions, the highest amount you can have withheld automatically (unless you ask for an additional amount).

The projected tax burden for lower income Americans has decreased and so some of us will see a difference. I have, but it was to my benefit.
His range is impressive, but I wouldn't buy a CD or
enjoy listening to him much on the radio. Actually, the only time his range is impressive is when he screams out the high notes, but that's getting really old really fast. Impressive yes, enjoyable long-term no. I would buy a Gokey CD though because I really enjoy his smoky voice. I loved his version of 'What Hurts the Most'. Actually the only 2 voices to me that are pretty enough to buy a whole CD are Gokey and Anoop.
