I went with WilsonArt when we put it in
a few years ago. This particular WilsonArt product used special glue that is more moisture resistant than others, and would help seal liquid out of the cracks. Even still, there are a few areas where liquid sat too long and there is a hint of damage to some of the ends of certain boards, but it actually seems like it diminishes (flattens down again) over time. There is a special cleaner you are supposed to use to clean the floor, but we have always used the enzyme products on the floor after an accident, and it seems to work to keep the dogs from returning to that spot, and the enzyme cleaner does not damage it (unless it has been wet too long). Muddy paws have been no problem - what a blessing that has been. You can therefore clean those up whenever it's convenient for you.

The floor is cooler than wood, which the dogs like. The slipperiness means there is rarely running through the house, which is good, but then again they do find it slippery to walk on.

Large rough tile with colored grout would be another way to go, but our WilsonArt is scratch-free and in great shape after about 5 years.
