I live in Colorado Springs, 1 hour south of Denver. Denver has a wonderful zoo. It is located near City Park. Enjoy your trip!

only $3.25 here in Denver
and the DoSiDos don't last more than a day in my house.
Denver isn't west.....
I will be moving there soon and, sad for me, it is so flat I could hardly believe it. It reminded me VERY much of Nebraska. And the mountains are sooooooo far off in the distance. I would have to say that I would consider Denver mid-west, not geographically of course but sure looked that way to me when I was there. I like living right next to mountains and foothills in SoCal and Tahoe.
But it should be a VERY NICE place to VISIT!!!
Have a safe trip
Denver folks out there?
I have posted before and do not want to get into WWIII but supposed to go on vacation next week to Salt Lake City, Wyoming and the like, leaving from Denver and wanted to know if anyone can suggest sights, restaurants for my last day of vacation before returning home.
Definitely snow in Denver tomorrow. sm
If you want to go "out west" try the coast of California. No snow there, but snow in Colorado.
denver is most certainly west and is not flat...
I lived in and around Denver for 3+ years - it is not flat at all and it is most definitely WEST..........just not as west as the west coast. Chicago is considered midwest (Illinois).
some people are just geographically challenged....*LOL*
