That's my baby's daddy!!...sm
This is my CJ's daddy everyone. He has the same face as my CJ. Awww!! If they were the same color they could be twins. CJ is tan and his dad as you can see is brindle. What a sweet picture! He looks like he is just posing for it!
Dear Baby Daddy:
Pay me the GD $27,000 in back child support that you owe me so maybe I could take a week off from work...
I think pretty sad state when you know so many mamma baby daddy?? stories
I do not know of 1 and believe you me, live in a huge city, have children, grandchildren. I would hate to say that I was such a s___ that I did not know my babies daddy. Really disgusting.
The Maury Show could find out who the baby daddy is in 48 hours!
I thought they should do that...LOL! I think the baby looks just like Birkhead, but it would be funny if it were Marshall's.
Legally, he probably owes you more
If you really wanted to be technical, legally it needs to be served doesn't it?
This woman owes no one anything regarding the name
I went to my brother's child funeral (my niece) the other day. Brother killed in an accident when this child was 6, she died at 39, raised by stepfather for most of those 30+ years. My maternal aunt and I at funeral and yet the stepfather got up and referred to the deceased as his daughter- my aunt did not like that as basically erased her father from her life but things like this happen- this person can and should name her child whatever she wants. If the relationship is that tedious with only a name, then she does not need those kind of people in her life. Simple.
Our son owes us an apology?

He blames us for him quitting school and him working at a job for 6 years that he hated. He is 36-years-old. He refused to go to school and the fines we received for him not going to school cost hundreds of dollars. We made him pay those fines. But the whole point was he hated school, wanted to quit, but we thought if he worked a summer, he would go back. He made the choice not to go back to school even though we begged him to because with education, he would get better jobs, but to no avail. Now he is blaming us for ruining his life. "After all, I spent 6 years at a job I hated and I wasted my life."

He is now in a good job, but it really hurts that he thinks we are the ones that caused his problems. Now he's telling my husband, because there is no work for his occupation, that that's no excuse not to go and get a job somewhere else.

What is wrong with this picture?  I am furious with him. I think he owes my husband an apology. What do you think?

I'm venting here because if I say anything to him right now, it will go in one ear and out the other. He is totally right all the time in his mind.

Ethics, she owes big time,
otherwise why the secret from her husband? Saving her own tail.
Must be he owes back taxes or is
wanted for some other crime that worse than $200,00 is good!
How about sister-in-law who owes big time
My brother had custody of his two children since they were babies. They are not nearly 30 years old but his ex was court ordered to pay child support and she is now in arrears to the tune of over 30K+.....just report their SS# to the IRS yourself so they won't get tax refunds EVER!!
I don't have a clue how much my brother owes
for his children, but at this point he will never catch up. My parents (who are defintely able to do this) payed my ex-SIL instead. My brother just says they are just giving them his inheritance. My parents bypassed him in their wills long ago and set up trust funds for his children. This is while he was still married. As soon as he finally got a job his ex let it be known and money is witheld from every paycheck. At least he is trying a little now and things are starting to look up, but.... I really hate it for all of those who don't have anyone else to step in and help and I really admire the ones that do it all on their own.
Yes, I do believe he owes you and your husband and apology.. sm
You don't say how old he was when he refused to go to school, but I'm guessing he was high-school aged. I have a son who is now almost 18 and getting him to go to school up until this last fall was a struggle. He is learning disabled and absolutely hated school, couldn't care less if the schoolhouse burned to the ground. Thankfully, I was able to get him into a work program this past fall which will satisfy his graduation requirements and he is very happy with it now. I wish you had had access to some kind of program when your son was in school. However, his choices were his own and he has to accept responsibility for them.
I am currently on Dave Ramsey's
program and just paid off my 1st bill yesterday. Everything he says makes complete sense. It took a while to build up my 1st emergency fund, but it really is not as hard as you think if you put your mind to it and stick to the plan.
Try Dave Ramsey
After you tell him (and you HAVE to tell him!) check out Dave Ramsey.  He has a show on TV every night at 8 p.m. (central) on the Fox Business channel if you have cable, or check out his book from the library, The Total Money Makeover.  He teaches you how to plan a budget and work TOGETHER with the finances, one of his most important techniques, and living within your income.  In this economy we are all struggling--your biggest mistake was trying to keep it from him.
You must be an follower of Dave Ramsey. That guy is the best!!!
nm.
According to Dave Ramsey, my hero...sm
He says if you have cards you have paid off or no longer use, you need to call and write the credit card company and let them know that you want the account closed. And that you need to keep checking with those institutions to make sure they have actually done what you asked them to do. IMO, I would do the same thing..cancel them completely and then cut them up to boot. Hope this helps.
LOL, they have been looking for Dave at my house, too, he must move a lot! :-) nm

RE: Has anyone every heard of Dave Ramsey - See message
He has a program called Total Money Makeover.  Has anyone ever tried it??  Thanks!
I agree with this poster and so does Dave Ramsey. sm
Get your hands on anything of his and follow the recommendations. He has helped me greatly. As Reality Check says, and I agree, our economy is in dire straits and not having any financial worries will be worth the effort to get there.

Good luck to you and your wife.
go see Meet Dave with Eddie Murphy.
The kids will love it - and so will you. He played it so well! Cracked me up...several times.
I've seen Dave Ramsey on Fox News

but never got a chance to try to find his web site. I will though, hopefully sooner than later.

We had our dream car a couple years ago. My favorite color (blue) with blue interior and a very large luxurious car that got unbelievable 30 mpg. It was the first time we spent more than $1000 on a car except when I had a brand new Horizon back in the ྌs. We loved that car, only 50,000 miles on it, thought it would last us forever, but little did we know it was in a flood. We started smelling a musty smell coming from the trunk when summer rolled around and 3 years later, it was trash, all rotted out underneath, nothing electrical worked on it. Even though it had all those things wrong with it, I still loved it, but it had to go to the graveyard. Broke my heart. (They don't make that car anymore).

That same year, a friend gave us a calendar that had daily numbers on it. If the number came up on a certain day, you would win those $$ for that day. December 29, our number came up and we won $100. The same day, DH bought a car with a blown engine for $100 without knowing he had won the $100 from the calendar. So, in reality, we had a free car. We pulled the engine from my blue baby and put it in the $100 car and it lasted 4 years until the windshield and transmission started to go.

We are still going to save the engine from my blue baby because it still has a way to go to hit 100K just in case this other car has engine problems. Then, if not, we will probably sell the engine later on to get a few extra dollars needed.

I've been working on a budget since last year that I downloaded from MS and was surprised to see that we rarely have any $$ in most of the columns, but  insurance and taxes are eating us alive. No way to get out from under all the myriad taxes (federal, state, local, property, school, township, breathing, emergency, sales, etc.) and insurances (health, home, car, disability, vision, life, etc.).

whose yo daddy?
is victoria's baby JTs or brads?
"So Damm Lucky" Dave Matthews.
.
Dave Ramsy, The Total Money Makeover....
His message, "Live like no on else so later on you can live like no one else." Budget is not a bad word and saying no to the kids is not wrong and does not make you a bad parent.
daddy will get a wakeup call when either he has to
pay $$$ for his sons mistakes...or visit him in prison for the rest of his life. whichever comes first.
I will LMAO when you end up sad and alone--no sugar daddy. nm

Maybe one of the detectives was the 'baby daddy'!

I get Mommy and Mama for now, DH get Daddy, Dada (sometimes) - sm
I kind of like Mama though, guess it will change over to Mom soon though as they are 7 and 8 now. A girl in our Brownie troop has to call her mom, Ma'am, which I think stinks and I feel bad for the kid (and the mom as she is just making her child feel unwanted I think, plus it is a little weird).
Her daddy is a loser drunk. See, parents
Poor girl!  That family is filled with depression and low IQ.  I hope it all works out for her.
Well apparently daddy changed his mind and said
yes, yes, yes!!!! She couldn't attend the awards due to being in rehab. At least what Brad is singing about is legal!
sorry, but I couldn't get past Daddy sleeping with

topics evolve and change, Daddy nm
nm
Yup, my daddy lived this all his life, and he left my mom a wealthy little old lady....sm
She would much rather have him back, but on his little pay, raising four kids, mom never worked (a June Cleaver type of existence), he taught us all do do this, and daddy was so right! If you can't pay for it, don't charge it, and come pay day, ALWAYS pay yourself first, and use those budget envelopes. God my daddy was a depression person, 12 siblings, and hardly finished high school, but he still is the wisest man I ever met!!
New baby on the way.
Congratulations!!!!!! Hope you have a beautiful, healthy baby. I lost my first baby and it was 4 years before I tried again. I also think about the baby I lost, I don't think that ever goes away. I am proud to have two girls now to enjoy. Take pleasure in each moment. Enjoy!
I just want him to baby me
I am a female have been married to my husband for a year and 7 months, (no kids yet) and ever since I have been married I feel like I am babying him. I am more affectionate to him, I always want to cuddle with him, always worried about him and feel like I don't want to lose him. we have a great relationship open and honost. But sometimes I want him to run after me, to show me affection, to take care of me to feel like he is scared to lose me. I want him to tell me that I wanna go out with you with out any friends just the both of us, I just want him to baby me like I baby him. what do I do? trust me I have tried talking to him, but you see I don't want to tell him these things I want him to do it on his own. I go to school 2 times a week in the evenings and I always have to beg him to pick me up from school, I want him to tell me that he wants to pick me up. how do I go about? please help.
The baby's name is
Dannylynn Hope Marshall Stern. I think the move to Bahamas was Stern's idea and I think he is sly like a fox, i.e. the main players mother and son out of the way and now the baby who he is laying claim to with the name of Marshall in there (deceased husband's name). If you are the real father, you would demand to have paternity testing- we all know this is something he has tried (unsuccessfully thank goodness) to stop. The courts supposedly giving DNA results this past Tuesday but nothing yet. It would be a big shocker if the husband who died (Marshall) turned out to be the really father, wouldn't it? Can we say invitro?
My baby Fox isn't doing well.
He hasn't felt well for several days, but it seemed that every time we decided okay, we definitely need to take him to the vet, he would improve a little.

But today my son was getting ready to leave the house and Fox usually runs after him, barking, to try to get him not to leave. Fox started barking, but he couldn't get up. He was on the carpet, not the wood or the tile. He just could not get up.

So I took him to the vet and she examined him. He has arthritis in both his knees because of the surgery he had when he was younger (for patellar luxation). We found out a few months ago that his right shoulder is luxating in the same way that his kneecaps did.

Now his left shoulder is also luxating.

He's such a little stoic it is hard to tell exactly how much pain he is in. The vet gave him a prescription for a fentanyl patch. My husband should be home in a few minutes so he can help me put the patch on. The vet shaved a place on his back for it but she said to hold it in place for 2-3 minutes so that it adheres properly.

The vet said the pain reliever might make him feel so much better that he would be running and jumping around and injuring himself worse. If he feels well, the only way we can keep him from running around is to crate him.

I don't know what to do. I don't want him to hurt. I don't want to shut him up in a crate. He would go nuts - he is used to being very active.

I don't want to keep him alive and miserable for my own selfish reasons - that I can't bear to part with him. But I also don't want to decide too soon that his quality of life is unacceptable.

I don't know what to do.

Baby sm
First of all, congratulations! You are about to experience the greatest gift on earth. I was not heavy but had a friend who was. Mind you, this was way back, as I am older, but I was surprised that she actually went on a very healthy diet which was good for the baby, and actually lost a few pounds. Check with your docs, but perhaps this will be a great incentive for you. Be positive, it will all be good! Best of everything to you and your baby.
Baby's bpm.
Hello. I just had my first real appointment at 12 weeks today and the doctor, i believe, told me the heart rate was 114. I've been trying to do some research on this but the more time i spend on the computer the more worried i'm getting. I've been reading a lot of women saying they lost their babies. The rate was much lower and around 5-6 weeks but i'm still scared. If anybody has info. about this or knows a thing or two i'd really appreciate it until i can call the doctor tomorrow. Thanks so much. =)
My baby
Buster is unfortunately not a puppy anymore. He will be 14 in January. He has some arthritis in his back legs and has what we think are TIAs occasionally, but he still runs and plays like a puppy when he gets a new toy.
Maybe you could rig that baby to
heat the house!
Baby? lol
He looks like a big baby! lol How cute, looks like he poses for pictures often. I would definitely have that one in a frame with that beautiful smile! :)
Sorry about your baby...
Losing a pet is like losing a member of the family.  We lost our beloved 9-year-old black lab 4 years ago, the week of Christmas.  I had to take him to the vet because out of the blue he had an episode, that he just lied there and wouldn't respond.  I thought he was dead then.  He came to and I took him to the vet.  She couldn't find anything wrong with him, took some blood for testing.  He died the next day.  It broke all of our hearts and when I saw my husband cry (I had never seen him cry before in 13 years of being together), it made the hurt that much worse.
Hopefully someone will come up with 8 baby
te
baby

Congrats!!

If your income isnt too much you can always get medicaid and wic (not health insurance but helps out with food and formula)

right age for a baby?

For those of you who are planning to have kids, what is the "right" age to conceive? Of course everybody will have a different right time, but I'm just curious about other people's time lines.

What about Sun-In (to go along with the baby oil)...
and, more importantly, drive-in theaters - my boyfriend and I used to go to the drive-in almost every weekend in the late 70s/early 80s!!  I wish they would bring the drive-in back.
some relief for your baby...
Try hemorrhoid cream to the blisters...I swear it will significantly decrease the itching.  My daughter was around 4 when she got the chicken pox and I put Preparation-H on her blisters and kept it on them and she barely noticed them.  Please try this, it honestly will help!  Good Luck...and BTW, sounds like the doctor isn't the only one that is a jerk!!! ---to your "husband"...
Poor baby!
I hope you can figure out what's going on with her.
A note on my baby
I left a message on the board about how my babies F/L was measured short and the doctor told me the baby probably had down syndrome.  Well, I went to see a specialist who was very upset with the previous doctor and he did a level II ultrasound and my baby is perfect and normal.  They do not measure the F/L for down syndrome.  They measure the humerus bone.  Anyway to make a long story short-----thanks to all who responded !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Oh and the baby has very long legs......
