DH ?

Opinions please. I know this is long, but I do not know what else to do. DH got hurt at work at the end of August last year. He went to his orthopedic doctor because he did not want to go through all the workman's comp ****. Doctor recommended surgery, but recovery time is 3 weeks, but doctor would not let him go back to full duty for 8 weeks because his job is physical. We could not afford him being off work for that long without pay, so I told him he had to go through worker's comp. He started the process in October (took that long to get an appointment). He hurt it worse in November because the workman's comp doctor put him on physical therapy and anti-inflammatories instead of doing the surgery he needed and he was still working. It is now the middle of July and they are still giving him the run around and now saying it is because date of injury is in question. My poor DH is in so much pain and now he cannot even pickup our 4-year-old daughter because of the pain and he has started dropping things. We are not trying to milk the system. My husband got hurt doing his job. I hear all these reports day in and day out of people who are not really hurt and my doctors question their validity, but they still get all the treatment and do not work. I just do not know what to do.

Thanks for any advice.
