IRS stimulus - find out when you'll
Go to http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=177937,00.html and click on where's my stimulus. They just added this yesterday. It will tell you exactly when you are getting yours and how much.
Now I'll have to go find the link...
Is it possible that she only threatened to or "tried" but didn't succeed in actually getting the blades down the hatch, so to speak?
It does seem like there's no way she'd be alive right now if she had actually swallowed even one of them.
Unless of course she left it in the protective wrapping....
...don't worry! They'll probably find a new home the

Nah, I'll try to find the link and post it....
I read on I believe the MSN site or somewhere yesterday that a vaccine will be available by about September but nothing sooner, which is why I find it interesting they're now saying it could fizzle out and re-emerge in fall (presumably after the vaccine is ready).
Anyone remember the big flu scare about 3 years ago, where the pharmaceutical companies swore there was a shortage of the vaccine and it would be deadly to old people and compromised children, etc.? Everyone running out and getting their innoculation before it was no longer available, creating a mass panic, then a month or two later, the news was showing TONS of leftover vaccines sitting on the shelves.
Nah, I don't trust this hysteria about the swine flu at all. I look on it more as yet another way for the media to play on our fears for ratings, and the big-money corporations that run the pharmacies to cash in on that fear.
he did say you can move and maybe he'll find a woman who likes his life.

Prell
Hi - I can't find this anymore (Prell). May I ask where on earth or in what stire it lives these days? It is such a useful product for oily hair and is also useful for removing excess color deposits when tint comes out a little too strong. Thanks in advance and no hurry, but I have the car warming up! To the original poster, go to the store and buy small bottles of several shampoos and see which one works on your hair. Regrowth that needs touchup always makes your hair oily fast, so you might want to take care of that. If money is an issue, you don't have to spend a fortune. There is are excellent products out there for a good price including my favorite (hard to find sometimes so I buy many at a time) Squeaky Clean (in an orange bottle made by Got2B. All the stores listed on the internet that are supposed to have it only have their other products in my area and it ticks me off. It is wonderful. One of my daughters uses the old standby called Alberto VO5 the one that smells like vanilla-mint and it is only 99 cents at the grocery store. I tried them all out and the scent in that brand does make a difference in the texture of the hair after shampooing. The vanilla-mint one makes the hair silkier and curbs oiliness pretty well. If we have a favorite shampoo that is good sometimes we use it "too long" and it causes buildup on the hair shaft. The answer is to strip it off and Prell or Got2B Squeaky Clean is great for that. Sometimes just use another brand a couple of times and that works too.
I'm waiting for the location of Prell! Hope my town has some that I haven't found!
Paul Mitchel and Prell
I have same problem. I like to use Paul Mitchel's Tea Tree Oil Shampoo, cuts down on the itching, can sometimes go an extra day. Once in a while I use a clarifying/chelating shampoo that I get from my son's salon. Also, I agree that color treated hair helps. As for where to buy Prell, try the dollar store. Comes in a different style bottle than the old days, now is in light green plastic bottle, probably about 12 oz or so. My mom recently gave me a bottle after cleaning things out and I used it to shave my legs and shampoo my hair.
Prell - I buy it at Wal-Mart in Athens, Alabama.
I have also found it at Dollar General.
I used to do store security for a major department store - try this -
Go to the store and ask to speak with someone from the security department. Tell them what you have stated here. Hope they are able to help you!
The only thing that works for my youngest daughter is Prell shampoo. nm

Yeah I remember Prell!! I think I saw some at Dollar General not too long ago (nm)

Find a lawyer, find out where you would stand - sm
in the event of a divorce/separation, regarding custody, house, etc. Custody was my main concern as well since I lied on numerous occasions about the finances. Where I am I was told that would not factor in to the custody at all. I can prove that I am my kids caregiver 90% of the time, I ferry they around everywhere, help with homework, get ready for school, meet at busstop, etc. I could also point out my husband is an alcoholic, self treats his depression with alcohol instead of getting proper medical treatment, has threatend to kill himself (or me) numerous times (though he always says he was joking and did not mean it.....that is his standard answer to everything, or that he never said that). Now I do love him enough to deal with all that because deep down inside my DH is full of it, luckily for me, he has never followed through on anything he says he is going to do. But I thought my confession would be the straw that broke it all and send him over the edge. He still is angry with me, I am sure he will be for a long time, but is keeping it together pretty well, though he has said the stress was going to kill him, now he know how I felt I guess. I am sorry your husband is such a smuck. I feel like a dog sometimes with the sex demands, have to do it the night before he goes out of town....he will be traveling a lot for work for the next 3-4 months, which I am more than glad about, much calmer here then, though it gets tiring for me but as he is not really helping much right now it really won't be much of a change. As for yours going on 5 day weekends.....have you considered having him followed, sounds like there may be some infidelity afoot, and if so that would strengthen your case in the event of a divorce and custody I would think. Sounds a bit fishy going out until 1 a.m. and his frequent trips. My DH fishes too, but he goes 2 miles from here with one of our male neighbors, they shoot the breeze and he gets to unwind some which I encourage. Very rare weekends with a buddy of his, I am talking once every 2 years, which again is fine with me. Start keeping track of all you do, when he is home, where he supposedly goes, with whom, etc. He cannot show he will be a responsible dad if he is never there or never interacts with his own kids. My DH would probably suggest I take our older daughter and he the younger, spliting them up, he has the same perception, the oldest is mine, the youngest is his. Our younger daughter is much easier to deal with, our older daughter drives him nuts and she is only 10. My younger one (8) knows something has been going one though, and worries we will divorce, which she does not want. She is very perceptive for her years. I hope that if you do go the divorce route, which would actually probably be best in your situation, that it all works out for you and you get your fair share of assets, etc. Make sure before you do anything like that you have all your ducks in a row, so talk to divorce lawyer. I talked to one for 45 minutes, cost me $160 but was worth it to set my mind at ease. Good luck.
thanks! :) I'll see if he'll ask some female friends SM
Thank you everyone! It has been great reading all of your responses! Goodnight!! "See" you all tomorrow!

My Hubby had it several years ago, but back when they did the open kind. The first week was the worst for him, but, remember, that was open, so you should do fine. Just remember to take everything they tell you. Just a note: He lost well over 200 pounds and has kept almost all of it off now about 4-1/2 years later...so enjoy your new look!!!

Working today and tomorrow
Talked to PS this morning. I work both days as regularly scheduled. Should be plenty of work on my accounts. I agree, more money, shouldn't complain. I work from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Already had my break today, watching the clock. I want a nap before tonight's festivities. Merry, Merry Christmas to all. Kiss and hug those nearest and dearest to you - for "they are precious in His sight."
Yep! Mine is pending now to go in tomorrow
I did e-file and direct deposit for my taxes and refund check, and my hubby's SSN ends in 03.

a six-month tour of duty fighting to keep us all free! He just got married before he left in November and everyone is doing little dances all over the place!!! GOOD FOR YOU, John Michael.
thanks, it's scheduled to be deposited tomorrow
the only thing that worries me is this little statement:
You should receive a notice showing the amount of your payment. Please hold on to it because you will need it when you prepare your 2008 tax return.
Well that's certainly an interesting combo. I might try that tomorrow.
My homemade recipe calls for instant coffee, creamer, dry milk, sugar, and a tsp of vanilla, which was okay. I saw the ingredients on Amazon.com and those were the ingredients except instead of vanilla it was cocoa powder, so I made another batch mixed with the first batch and put in 2 tsp of cocoa instead of the vanilla and it turned out really good. Have to make more already. I wish I could send you some of your CCDDP.
Going to New Orleans tomorrow for one of the big parades...
Anyone else ever been that can tell me what to for sure not leave at home (other than a porta-potty!)? So excited, going to be really fun I'm sure!
Thanks everyone who responded - can't wait til tomorrow morning!

Yard sale tomorrow - how much change?
Hi, everybody, happy TGIF.
I'm having a yard sale tomorrow and hoping to raise a decent amount of $ to help buy a wheelchair accessible van for my DH. My question is this: How much change would you think I should have available and in what sorts of denominations? Most stuff will be under $10 but there will be a few higher priced items.
Thanks !
Shelby
We will have 31 people at his party tomorrow night and that sm
includes kids. I am making fried chicken and wings. Can anyone think of something cheap and large to feed all these people? haha They say when you send out invites that half show. So far, we've rec'd RSVPs from everyone minus 2. If they come it will be closer to 40 people! I wasn't expecting this turn out. But, I am very relaxed. Just need some food ideas! Thanks!
Thanks...I decided to make an appt tomorrow (sm)
wondering if I have some compression on my inferior vena cava when I lie down which is causing hypotension...not sure what is doing the compressing though - guess that's why I need a doctor, huh :-)
Today's children are tomorrow's leaders and
your future neighbors be closed-minded and intolerant of you? What if YOU had something about yourself that was [gasp!] 'different'? Would you want neighbors and community leaders who persecuted you and limited YOUR freedoms? Or would you want to be an equally-valued member of society?
Starting the first week in November, so tomorrow
there are two radio stations in town that plays Christmas music 24/7. I like Christmas music, but I think it's a little early to listen to it all day every day. Although, my daughter watches Christmas videos all year round.

OMG, are you sure that's not the same store?
Or do all young male cashiers just have a breast fixation? Boy oh boy.
You don't have to go the store.
You don't die from not being able to go into a store. You may die from secondhand smoke (living with a smoker), but I doubt from simply walking through a door and inhaling a few seconds of secondhand smoke. Most people will eat themselves to death before they die of secondhand smoke. Funny how the older generation smoked, ate lard, and never took vitamins, and most lived to be in their 100's. I have an aunt that died of cancer, never drank, never smoked, never ever did anything but serve her husband and she died. My grandfather rolled his own cigarettes and lived to be 91 after a career as a coal miner... go figure... cigarette smoking I'm sure causes cancer, but so does a lot of other things like auto fumes (pollution), asbestos, and the like. They are building new homes minutes from toxic waste dumps. If you get cancer it won't be from walking through a doorway of a store where someone is smoking, it will more than likely be from the other things listed above.
Don't go to the store...sm
you must be a smoker who thinks they are the only ones being deprived of their rights. We all need to go to the store. What a ridiculous statement to make. People who smoke are addicted to their addictions and don't have the courage to break the habit. True, cigarette smoke is not the only thing that causes cancer, but if I choose to not have it affect my life and my pleasure of living my life, you don't have the right to inflict it upon me, just because you choose to stay addicted to your addiction and don't like being told you need to go to certain areas in order to feed that addiction. If you need to smoke that badly, don't go to the store and smoke. Don't go to the store at all, just like you told me I don't have to. Stay in your car and inflict it upon yourself or stay home.
