Copper seems to be the big one right now

We have even had people breaking into houses to still the copper lines out of people's basements.  It is absolutely ridiculous.  I also know of some people that were fired from their jobs because they were caught stealing the scrap metal.  Apparently, the company policy was to recycle it at the company's profit, not the employee's. 

The only scrap we recycle is aluminum.  My kids collect soda cans and then we take them once every few months to cash out.
