Don't confront her - that puts you on the offense and her on the defense. Just ask, "My child told me the subject of Santa came up in class. How did that happen? "
Don't base your judgment of this teacher on what a third grader tells you - children - and adults for that matter - usually only remember parts of what they hear.
After the teacher tells you what happened, I would just say I was disappointed that another adult told my child that Santa was not real and if the subject comes up again, perhaps she should just tell the children to talk about that with their parents.
