I put on moisturizer first
I have been wearing Bare Essentials for over 2 years now, and I put a very thin layer of what I call a primer on my face and then let it sit for a few minutes and they apply makeup. Makes the makeup go on better. I have a question though. Do you ever have trouble with the powder from the makeup getting all over everything? Even though I use a minimal amount and tap the brush before applying, it seems to fall on everything else.

My daughter has one on her cheek and she is only 13, so I'm not sure it's just from aging. Hers really stands out because her complexion is just beautiful otherwise. I'm pretty sure they can be zapped away, though.

I'm sorry that you are going thru this, and I'm just bidding my time for the "father" of my oldest who is now 21, who hasn't called, visited, or supported him since he was 5, to start wanting something. What your ex is doing is basically called stalking. He gave up his paternity rights and now wants to be treated as a parent, give me a break. By law, he has no rights to be contacting you or you son, as he is legally not his father any longer. A parent is not the one "who makes you" but the one that is by you when you're sick, happy, sad, etc. etc. etc. My oldest one, even though I always offered the opportunity for him to have contact if he wanted to, doesn't care, want in any shape or form, to have any contact with his father either. For you ex to find your phone number or where you are living, either someone you know is giving him this information or if you have it listed in the phone book just by searching on the net is pretty easy to find anyone's number (always make your number private, unlisted, and if you can get unknown caller rejection even better, some phone companies give you this choice). Who knows what the heck is now wrong in his life that he wants to turn around and give you all this trouble. Those type of "men" (and I use the term loosely) never ever change. What does he want, for your son to tell him to go away directly to his face? Then, he would take that as a clear shot to keep trying to make your life miserable. You did the right thing by calling the police and even if you have to, get an injuction against him.
hot spots on dogs
My sweet boy keeps getting hot spots. Does anyone have any experience with these, what works best? I'm headed out to PetCo soon and any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Florida vacation spots
My favorite spot is Santa Rosa Island just on the other side of Pensacola, FL. Although was run out twice due to hurricanes (10 years apart exactly) but was on the last night of vacation. I can also recommend the Iberostar resorts in Mexico - Carmen Del Playa and Cozumel for family - Cancun is more for the young adults/adults. It was actually less to go to Mexico than Florida with an all-inclusive package.
Once you chill off, what was the verdict with the spots? nm

I think you should have divorced him four years ago as soon as he became violent with you. Personally, I would never allow any man to verbally or physically abuse me. Not only would I have divorced him, I would have pressed criminal charges against him and done whatever I could to make sure he spent some time in jail. I cannot understand why any woman would give a violent man a second chance. Flame me if you want, but a leopard cannot change his spots!
My golden gets hot spots in the summer sm
I shave the hair off around the hot spot and put Neosporin cream on it. Oh, and check your dogfood. We figured out he can only eat Purina Beneful or Pedigree. He devleoped many hot spots to Walmart brand and when we switched him back, the hot spots cleared right up. I keep his hair short and thinned out in the summer to help his skin get some air.
Question about floaters, spots in eyes- anyone with this?
Ok, have had these checked out before and know I have floaters (really no treatment for those as far as I know) but when I got back from vacation here lately the floaters changed to very, very tiny little spots in 1 eye, looks like I am seeing gnats when looking at the monitor or say a white background, driving me crazzzzy. Am using some eyedrops for dryness but wondering if anyone else had similar. Thanks!

I do think dark furniture would be most
dramatic. Plus, dark furniture with simple lines is very in right now if you watch the decorating shows. It is a nice-sized room, similar to mine.
I can suggest staying away from furniture with oversized posts. My parents got a bedroom suit a few years ago with posts that were of a large diameter, around 5 or 6 inches, and it looks heavy and odd in their room IMO.

Just a shot in the dark here, but
it sounds to me like he has a warped mind regarding sex and women, the most likely culprit being pornography, or childhood abuse.
I want some dark, really rich
coffee and I do not know what to buy to get this taste. I have used Folgers, Maxwell House and others and never can duplicate what I drink at other places. As far as the Starbuck's I usuallly buy when out and around and just to give me a perk up. I can take or leave. What kind of coffee is really rich and good tasting, anyone?

Bags/dark circles
Eyederma will definitely get rid of the dark circles, but it is expensive and it also dried under my eyes and made the wrinkles more noticeable. I tried Borba eye rejuvenator and love it. It definitely shrinks the bags and gets rid of the dark circles. I got mine from QVC, but if you Google Borba, they also have their own website. Hope this helps.

I lived with dark green paneling for almost 20 yrs in the
living room then finally took the plunge. It took a coat of primer and 2 coats of the light colored paint I wanted, but it was so worth it. I took before, during and after pictures and the difference it made is unbelievable.
A dark rustic plank would probably be fine;
just don't do walnut! That's what my brother & his wife chose, and although we think of walnut as hard, theirs scratches terribly.
I house I'm drooling over has very rustic dark wood floors. If you had a big dog I might suggest tile as another idea, but with a small dog, nah.
Definitely modern, kitchen has dark blue
walls and cabinets, all built in white. Have dark brown slate on floor, so those are the colors and just drawing a blank about the counters.
I have the same problem with dark circles under my eyes. I also
notice it in pictures and just hate it. I know there are products over the counter that specifically say they work with the dark circles, but to date have not tried any of them. The Preparation H is only supposed to help with the puffiness.

I've read all the posts and was gettin' very hot with the ignorant ones...I didn't know what to say bkz I had too much to say and I could write an epistle.
My husband of 25 years is very similar...keen observer, listens and gleans information from all the chatty folks before he makes a statement. Ya gotta be wary of people and their intentions. I was naive and didn't learn that till we moved to the south.

Having oreo and zebra scratched into their artwork in woodshop by mean-spirited kids was rotten....But, when one brought a noose on the bus and said "I'm gonna hang all ya'll" we went to address it at school...The only thing we got from central office and the principal was "He was only a-kiddin'". Anyone with a printer deskjet know why it prints a page with part of it dark and part of it light.
It is not printing uniformly.
