I'm old enough to remember the original Star Trek t.v. series. Remember the crew's communicators? Just like cell phones today! In fact, so much of what was on that old show has come to pass from science fiction into fact.

So, perhaps there is hope that cell phone use will become more civilized in the future. After all, we never saw Capt. Kirk, Mr. Spock and Dr. McCoy texting and constantly talking on their communicators.
