I had much the same thing happen to me last year. It was a wonderful rush. He stopped emailing me rather abruptly a few months ago. It was hard at first, but now as I have gained some perspective I see how unrealistic the whole thing was. Since you're asking for advice, my advice is to go cold turkey. That's the only way to bring you back to reality and in a while it will seem more like a dream and you'll begin to wonder why it was so important. Make no mistake - I still miss him. But I'm so glad I didn't do anything dumb like trying to meet him when I've got something so solid and lasting right here at home!
