In Reply to: would someone describe low BP, how it feels? - sm

I've been on medication to raise my blood pressure for a couple of years now.  Hypotension.

I have had black outs that are usually signaled ahead of time by light headedness and some queesy stomach.  My heart tends to have regular palpitations.  It was the irregular heartbeat that lead me to the dr in the first place, I had no idea my bp was so abnormally low.

It can be very dangerous so talk to your dr if you suspect it.  If you bp falls too low, or bottoms out like mine has a few times, your body may not be able to raise it and you could be in serious trouble.  It isn't a very common ailment for sure, but can be dangerous.
