I agree with the above poster. Your bank dropped the ball here. Did you write void on the check? Also I wouldn't send anything to someone claiming to be Telecheck and try to collect on this check especially over the phone. You need something in writing from them and/or Wal-Mart. I hate the way Wal-Mart does their checks now. How do they know it is you that is cashing that check? A person could find or steal a checkbook and start signing and cashing checks at Wal-Mart. They don't know its not you. One more reason I don't have a checking account anymore.

Speaking of banks...
My DD opened her first checking acct a few weeks ago. She received her ATM card in the mail and, being a young woman, didn't want to wait on the PIN to come in the mail. So she took the card to the bank and had it activated. After this, the PIN she selected at the bank would not work, so she took it back to have it changed. She walks into the bank, tells the woman she needs to change her PIN cause the original one doesn't work...the woman takes the card, slips it into a machine, gets the new PIN from my DD, and she walks out with her card with a new PIN. The kicker is...the woman at the bank DIDN'T EVEN CHECK HER ID!!! For all she knew, my DD coulda found that card and brought it in to change the PIN so she could use it!
Cord blood banks
Does anyone know of a reputable blood bank where new mom's can store their baby's cord blood? Also, the procedure for doing this? Thanks for your help. 
On Tyra Banks, lady taking HIV
test stating she was told by others the guy she was dating was in the hospital for endocarditis and the ONLY way he could catch it was through IV drug abuse. Gasp, gasp in the audience!! She came up negative after having the test on the show but Tyra then said she was fitting into a very high risk group having had sex with this guy- because he had the endocarditis, nothing solid as far as any drug abuse, IV or other....
