to spend it second guessing your relationship! It is either good or bad, worth fixing or not... It is your choice. If a man treats a woman like crap and she continues to take it she is also to blame. You can leave you know! There are good men out there, don't settle for less than what you deserve. If you want to be treated poorly those are the kind of man you are going to attract, the lousy ones. Women must stop being the victims. People treat you the way you LET THEM treat you. And those that say stay together for the sake of the children are nuts..especially if you have daughters, look at the example you are setting. I would much rather have a single parent (male or female) who was happy and well adjusted than be in a miserable two parent family where there is no mutual respect and love!

Unfortunately, life is actually way too long to be very, very poor, old and alone, and if you can't get along with anyone when you are young, you are not going to be that hot of a catch at the nursing home.

Life is too short to be married
to someone I am unhappy with and especially, not in love with. I would not cheat but would be honest about my feelings and get out of the marriage. Before acting on anything, I would make sure I was divorced as should he. People will get hurt unfortunately, but I could never stay in a marriage knowing I loved someone else or I was unhappy. Life is too short and goes by too quickly. I want no regrets.
People will not like this answer but it's how I feel.
Life is short and you only get one go-round.
Is this what you wanted out of life? No marriage is perfect, but being faithful is a basic requirement, not to mention the deadly diseases out there. That's all I'll say other than to add, you're much stronger than I am & I hope it all works out for you & you find happiness & peace, one way or the other.

Besides many times life in jail is short anyway
or the criminal ends up with his own kind and fits in fine and learns more... so, if they live long enough (not killed by the other inmates) they learn how to be a better criminal. I just am agreeing there should be no parole. But oh boy, I'd never want to see the inside of one of those places.

than with someone who mistreated me either physically, OR 'just' psychologically. And even if the kids don't actually see anything happening, you better believe they're still picking up on the bad vibes.
The fact that he mentions killing HIMSELF, in addition to you, is a major red flag. If a person reaches a point where they actually talk about doing something, they're alot closer to doing it than when they were just thinking it to themselves.
Guns in the house. (Guns, pleural!) Not good. I'd have insisted those be gone before the wedding day, myself. (Haha - it'd be in the prenuptial agreement that I'd never get married without!)
Anyway, living in fear for the sake of the greater financial 'security' of having 2 incomes is no security at all, in my book. It's a huge sacrifice of your freedom, peace of mind, & safety. The greatest security you can give yourself or the kids is finding a way to provide for yourselves WITHOUT the 'help' of an abuser.
short arms, short-term memory loss...
I too suffer from Short Arm Syndrome. Add to that the short-term memory loss that middle-age brings and I have now discovered I need to lasso the &*%$ reading glasses around my neck or my day will be spent wandering in circles asking the dog where my glasses are.
I have two pairs, per advice of doctor. I do not wear glasses all the time, so he thought I was not ready for bifocals. My son gave me a wonderful eyeglass case for Christmas that is big enough to hold both pairs should I ever venture out of the house amongst the living.
I did manage to find some "sporty" looking around-the-neck-eye glass holder thingies - what DO you call those things? I'd use twine before getting those multicolored beaded ones. I have a neon coral one and an emerald green one. Too bad I can't find the former, I can't remember where I put it.
Leave some open boxes of baking soda inside and maybe search for carbon filters to leave in there,

I really think your dog is unhappy and
has separation anxiety. Crating her all the time is not helping that in the least. Can you not work on spending more time with her outside of her crate? Yelling at her for normal dog behavior (trying to communicate with you by barking) really sounds a little cruel to me. Are you sure you want a pet at all?
Yes, there are always those few unhappy
people out there that always have to knock everyone else down because they are insecure, jealous or who knows why they do it.
Have you also noticed that crabby patty has not responded to anyone after her or his dumb remark???? Kinda of fun to give crabby a hard time back though.

Don't get me wrong, my son's teeth are straight. but it's like he pulled forward 6 "front" teeth into a squared off shape, very prominent. They look very fake--think Miley Cyrus after veneers. I had braces also, by a different orthodontist and my teeth are more "rounded" and natural, if that makes sense. has anybody ever been unhappy with their results??

I am not unhappy at all.
I see no reason. Right now hubby and I both have jobs, able to buy like we want, vacations in the works, approaching a big b'day for me, gosh I just think life is really good at the present time. I have gone through so much in the past am thankful I have halfway security now and at good point to where I am enjoying my life.
Where do you get unhappy or miserable out of that
After a while, most of the physical attraction wears off. And usually unless it is a volatile type of relationship with a lot of bad fighting and make up sex i.e., so does the passion. Sad but true. You can love your husband very much but just not have the attraction or passion that was once there. It doesn't mean you are unhappy, just normal.

Hope you do not waste any more time with this guy. There ARE better ones out there.
Just think of how many of them are unhappy in relationships though,
their spouse or SO for someone they co-star with. Im just thinking it takes a very strong person to see or think about the one you love kissing and becoming intimate with someone else, even if it is "pretend", and then to have them say they liked it"? Give me a break, that would be insulting to the spouse or SO - IMO.
I know I could not do it, and I am not usually a jealous person.

just got a bad-fitting set of dentures. Has she seen a dentist or denture specialist about this? Hopefully she can get them either adjusted or a new pair. I believe the change in her life would justify the expense more than adequately if she has to hide to eat, etc.

I am unhappy about gaining so much weight since I have become a MT, but there are many factors contributing to the issue, not just the fact I sit on my but for 10-12 hours a day.
Trolls like this generally are very unhappy people.......... sm

For me, it is probably not having that dream career....A career helps you feel more secure, worthy, gives purpose, makes you more confident, etc.

My hair is very short right now.
Short layers and all I have to do is spray a little hairspray on it and run my fingers through it and I'm good to go. It has gotten much thicker over the years and hair color has helped with that too. I hate that I have to color my hair, though. I started going gray almost 20 years ago and I just turned 40.  At some point, I will bite the bullet and let the color grow out, but haven't gotten there yet. Not ready to be totally gray.
My hair is short
When it starts to get even a little long, I have to go out and get it cut. I don't like the way my hair or the way I look when it gets too long. I just put some gel in it and go. The only thing I don't like is that it can get dry in the sun. I've been dying my hair for about five years or so (46 now). I won't let it go gray, but that's just me. My daughter is only 4 so I feel I would look like her grandmother if I let it go gray.
My 8 y/o is a size 5, but she's SHORT...
for her age! I really hope she grows into her feet soon, looks like she has clown feet :) She's only 4 ft 3 in., but has some of the biggest feet for her age.

Long and short of it -
While I can appreciate his desire to stop spending so much time in his car, I think the solution he is suggesting would only be very good in the short term at the most. The reality is you all probably need to sell your house and move closer to his job.

My dad short-tempered and

I did it about 3 years ago for a short while.
I quit because it was too much of a hassle. I had to buy the magazines, brochures, samples every 2 weeks plus get orders in every 2 weeks, plus I had to deliver with baby in tow, but you could have them pick their orders up at your house but with so many reps in this area, I had to be competitive. My friend I buy Avon from was having problems the company not sending the right orders, getting things mixed up etc etc. It is just a mess for her so she dropped it.
The pro side of it was that when I sold Avon I got pretty good bargains being a rep. They send a What's New brochure every 2 weeks. There are people here that order merchandise and open their own store and sell it that way. I don't know if they are making profit or not. I do think the real money is in recruiting people to sell like other MLMs. It really doesn't make sense to me to do things that way though. It would be like having a shoe store selling Nike's on every corner. Just doesn't make sense.

You will build up almost NO equity with a 40-year mortgage, and may have to sell it at a loss. Something to consider....

this year it is too late. They are in the house for the winter and laying next year's crop in your attic - supposed to spray outside the house eaves and foundation included in the fall to prevent any new ones.

Short story about ATVs
A woman I know was riding one with her 2 y/o grandson. She was turning on the 4-wheeler when it kicked into high gear and wouldn't slow down. They were heading right for a tree. Basically she had to jump off while holding onto her 2 y/o grandson. The 4-wheeler then ran into a tree and did some major damage. Thankfully, no one was hurt and she did the right thing by jumping, but still. They found out that whoever had put the 4-wheeler together before they bought it had done something wrong and when she turned it caused a wire to do something weird and it made it go fast and wouldn't brake. I can't remember exactly what they said happened, but if she hadn't jumped, she would have run right into a tree at full speed with her 2 y/o grandson.
Also, there was a young kid....about 5 or 6....who was killed about a month ago on an ATV. His older brother was driving and something happened and the kid hit his head and was killed. Had he had a helmet on, he probably would have lived.
When my stepson has a friend over, we always ask the parent's permission before we allow them to ride our 4-wheelers and we always make sure they have on a helmet. Asking permission is just common courtesy.
OMG Yes!!!!! It's a conspiracy against short people!
I get so aggravated! And then it never fails you go looking for someone who can help you or has a ladder and no one is EVER working on the floor! At Wal-Mart, I've grabbed one of those ladders they have hanging on posts throughout the store and climbed up myself to get something of the top shelf. THEN an employee appears and tells me I can't do that because it's a liability to the store. I said, "then you need to be out here doing you job so I don't have to!"

I bite my nails, so I get them done short..
they are really not too long, but look better than when I have chewed them all off. Terrible habit, I know, but a very difficult one to break. I quit smoking and didn't really think it was that hard, but I just cannot stop chewing my nails!

In my younger days, I would have sold my two front teeth to have a figure approximating Michelle's. To be slender and willowy, any height, was my wildest fantasy. These days, I'm just glad to be able to walk, run, and jump, forget about the looks part....:D

Two months is quite a short amount of time....
You need to take your time and keep YOUR options open! You may meet Mr. Right while you're seeing this guy. In two months, you probably don't even know his favorite color yet. Don't rush these things. If he is the one, he will figure it out and not want to see anyone else. Good luck! I hope this works out for you.
