Thinking of buying a house but have heard about issues with polybutylene and that sometimes damage from a burst pipe is not covered and/or homeowners insurance is much higher, etc. I am a single mom and this will be my first home purchase and probably the only one I will ever be able to make. Has anyone had experience with these types of pipes?
