Anyone have attooes or know about them? Sm

I just got one last week.  It has started to peel, completely foregoing any scabbing.  The problem is that as it has started to peel, there is no color underneath!!!!  The black is fine, but the color is literally coming off with the skin and any color that is left is very very faint.

Do I worry?  I have been told that this will sometimes happen because the ink is deeply instilled under many layers and that the dye will not come back up for a while, not until more skin peels off.  Thing is, I had a dream that the entire tattoo peeled off and I had no more tattoo and the next day it started to peel.

I told my DD, who has tats, that if all comes off, I'll just use colored Sharpies to "paint" it different colors to match my toenail polish (it is on the top of my foot) and not worry about it.
