A little tip that may help relieve

I have long suffered migraines since I was young, as have both of my daughters.
Get her a sleep mask (use a dark color, helps block out light better)and dab a little bit of lavender oil on a cotton ball then dab the cottonball on the outside of the mask. Then get one of those neck wraps (Wal-Mart sporting goods section) that you can keep in the freezer.
When she gets a headache, use the mask and lavender, then take the cold neck wrap and have her put it on the back of her neck. she can tie it or leave it loose.
May not totally relief her pain but will help her relax enough that she can go to sleep and sleep it off.
My oldest daughter started having migraines when she was about 5 and the lavender masks and icy neck wraps always help.
Good luck. Migraines are no fun at any age but way worse when it's a little one.

hitting a child is just an adult's way of throwing a temper tantrum. I'm not saying that a toddler should be explained things to, but often times just a firm voice can do the trick.
I have 3 boys and time-outs last longer than a spanking would and it gives me a chance to chill out. Inflicting pain on someone does not teach them not to do something. It teaches them to inflict pain on others.
I posted earlier today asking for some suggestions to relieve severe s/m
hot flashes. Tonight I am doing a search for cures and came across a site that swears by apple cider vinegar. There are many posts on this site stating this has been a miracle for not only hot flashes but many other conditions. Now my question. . . How do you drink vinegar in water every day? I am terrible about any liquid medicines, etc. with a bad taste. Anyone use ACV? I wish there was a better way to ingest it. Thanks!
