3-D shadow box

Hi Den,

You sound like an endearing and talented  young man.  Reasearch/  check out, really read up and study Joseph Cornell's works.... especially 3-D shadow boxes.

Ya don't have much time before Christmas....This can be accomplished with serious thought and construction at one of your bud's houses, ergo she'll be none the wiser.

My suggestion would be for you to put together a 3-D collage of  your young lady's favorite things (animals, shells, colored glass, Nascar, fave ball team... whatever)  and hide the ring amongst the pieces...Have her study it for a while.  When she finds it and screams OMG, carefully take the back off, do the proposal thing, put the ring on her finger... and later glue on the back on it securely.   For many, many years to come it will be prominently displayed on the wall and she can tell the romantic story.

Good luck to you both.    Cat

Did anyone hear if the groundhog saw his shadow?
I just realized I never heard.  I've had it with winter!  Yet another school closing today in NY.
Shadow (late black lab) and Whiskers (cat)...sm
So original aren't I?    There are some great names out there.
I bit th bullent and sent my Shadow to obedience school.
It was costly, but it made he difference between night and day. The results were well worth the investment.

I could not afford to do it now, and if I had to do it over again, I would go with him to the much less expensive (and sometimes free) classes they hold at the local pet stores because when he got home, what we had was a trained dog and an untrained "alpha leader." It could be that the shelters and humane societies have information on this as well.
