2/3's of me is an IC, 1/3 a PT MQ'er....sm

I am a *sole proprietorship* - the employer and the employee for 2/3's of the business and was an SE MT for MQ and forced into PT 1/1/06.  Hence I do a schedule C for the IC end of it and a W2-1040A for the MQ side of it.  I do not think I have a FED ID # and rather use my SS#....hope this helps.

I did call my dear business friend in PA who also works from home and she *never heard of getting penalized as long as everything is paid in by 4/15*.

She also said it *didn't sound right* that you are getting fined but we don't know....not expertised enough to help you here, only to share situations.
