There are lots of better options, and a few maybe great companies. Decide what is important to you in your employment, and start doing your research on the companies. You can use some of your vacation time and/or plan it so you can be testing for other companies during your days off. I left MQ after more than 7 yr of really believing in them (no, 6 of believing, 1-1/2 of hoping for better). I became an SE rather than employee. I was afraid of the tax part, but set money aside. I expected to pay thousands in taxes, but paid less than $300. I make more cpl, but work less hours and have job-joy again, absolutely NO stress. No more crying. No more worry or complaining. No burdensome account specifics or constant changes. If the Q has not improved in the last 2-3 yr, I just don't think they will. Biggest is not necessarily the best or safest route. There are (like the song) 1000 ways to leave your 'job'. Make your plan man!! p.s. i have carried my insurance separate from my employment for many years. I highly recommend doing so. No sense in being 'bound' to a job by health insurance.
