That was a bizarre post. Sounded like someone
with a vendetta. I haven't seen anything like that at Webmedx. They should go after that poster for libel. Good company.
Which post are you referring to? (SM)
You can report posts you feel should be reviewed for deletion on the Monitor board at anytime.
Which post uses the name of company President?
What post(s) are you referring to? Thank you. nm
x
If you are referring my post...
I think it's pretty clear..
Referring to my post above --
My mother and daughter typed extremely fast from written documents as that is all they had been trained on. When I was in high school and before I started MTing, I could also type really fast on written word, but now that I am trained on voice, I can no longer type fast or accurate at all from reading a document and transcribing that document.
I sure hope you were not referring to my post..sm
I don't know who you were referring to but I'm not that person saying India rocks....that's a given....*lol*
I merely said that racism and false accusation are not a good thing...but perhaps you weren't even referring to me, now that there are a dozen posts or so in the thread....
Happy weekend to all...*S*
Where is the post to which you're referring?
I can't find any that have the arrow
I think you are referring to my earlier post
and I am not in an illegal situatuation, though the poster who answered me tried to suggest that I am, or that I am somehow making the world less wonderful for other MTs.
If you feel used and abused, if your MTSO treats you as an employee when it comes to scheduling and as an IC when it comes to pay and benefits then you are in an illegal situation. I have been in similar situations and have simply chosen to move on. But I would not discourage anyone from slugging it out with their boss over the issue if they want to keep that job.
I simply don't want my personal very seaworthy boat sunk by somebody who has a hole in her own boat. 'kay?
OK, I'm lost. Are you referring to "I wish" post or
5t4
I wonder if referring to 2 separate post?s
I disagree, if a job is posted there is no reason not to give out the lowest to highest rate offer for the advertised position They know what they will offer FOR THE POSITION.
happens in other posted jobs all the time -- all the time, it is listed on the job opening. This saves both sides time
why not, only to find out some low rate you would not have bothered with, sent in a resume, tested for or interviewed for. I forgot one time -- forgot to PRE- check it out, got to interview and it was 7.5. What a waste (both sides) actually, but more for the MT wasted a lot of time.
If you're referring to the 20K-line post, I am NOT mgmt...sm
I make this type of line count because I'm willing to work on different accounts and work extra when the need arises. I LIKE paying my bills, so I am flexible - and that, in this day and age, is on of the real keys. Nothing is as it used to be when work was consistent and pay was better, but I need to pay the bills. I have a great communication with my supervisor, and that is another key. If you don't talk to somebody about your problems or lack of work of whatever, it cannot be fixed. I don't care if I have to learn every acct the company has - I'm going to do that, because it will ensure that I can maintain a good line count at the end of the payroll period, thereby affording me a better check.
The basic fact is that working for a company is no different than any other aspect of your life. If it's not working for you, then you MUST make a change. Complaining about something will not change it - and ultimately you will spend your life feeling miserable - and trying to make other people feel miserable, too. I choose the opposite.
I've been at a multitude of other nationals and, for me and for now, this IS the company that I'm happy with and with whom I intend to stay.
You can go ahead and flame away - 'cause while you're sitting here typing nasty responses, accusing me of being mgmt, or making negative responses about Transcend, I'm working away. Now if that sounds "condescending" to you, TOUGH!
When I use the word "you" in my post, I am not referring to you specifically but
all the posters on this board.
That's bizarre....
How odd that she would go through the trouble to take, save and send you a screen shot but apparently is reluctant to either forward you the suspect resignation or even to check for the IP information so that it can be traced. Sounds like TH is covering somebody's backside, if not her own, then someone's.
Keep us posted on what you find out. I cannot figure out how someone with nothing to hide would refuse to cooperate. If I were TH, I'd be furious that one of my MTs would stoop so low as to try to pull such an underhanded stunt and would stop at nothing to find out just exactly who was behind it.
How bizarre! Vianeta was the previous sm
platform used by my employer. I actually liked it. There were some days when it was slow, but overall I would not be afraid to use it. Different companies use it, so it must be tweaked for the individual companies I would imagine.
Not bizarre at all, and chances are, this person isn't living in the US. sm
A lot of the offshore companies front a business here but they are actually in India or Pakistan or whatever. Of course, they never tell you that.
Anyone else apply at ATS for an orthopedic MT position and get this bizarre,
obviously form letter that you did not have enough experience, even though you have over 15 years of MT experience, with over 10 of that doing orthopedics. I think it is pretty lame to send out an inappropriate form letter that is way off the mark. Tell me you've filled the position or just not interested but do NOT bother telling me that I do not have enough experience. Of course, I had to ask them, Just how much experience were you looking for, 10 years is not enough? Sometimes, this business scares me. I was just curious as to whether anyone else got this bizarre form letter when they applied.
Transam associates - Bizarre incidence
I received an offer from Transam associates and tested with their sample dictation (I thought it was weird because I could not use my foot pedal but write what I heard on paper and type it down). Before realizing my mistake, I accidentally pasted my confidentiality email footer and sent it. My clipboard messed up and I pasted the wrong thing (scatterbrained I know). A few minutes later I receive an email that I did great on the test and it was a true representation of my work. What in the world? Is this just an automated response to everyone. Are they a scam?
I think she is referring to
what you said in your post about this lady being an idiot. I don't think that was bullying or anything. Although, I was not looking for an opinion on a person here, I was simply looking for feedback on my post. And NO I am not putting you down for anything you said in your post. I really don't want this thread to turn into personal attacks and all the other junk I have seen on this board. I just want some feedback. Thanks all.
Which MDI are you referring to? - sm
If you are referring to MDI-FL, I use IT ProV with one of their progrmas, and it works great. They have very good benefits for employee, but I would ask the recruiter about that. Hope this helps.
Which OSi are you referring to? sm
I heard bad things about the OSi in Florida (Outsourcing Solutions or something like that), or are you talking about the other OSi in Pennsylvania (I think)? Thanks a lot!
What are you referring to?
nm
I think you are referring to the other OSI...
Opti-Script is out of State College, PA and I'm pretty sure they don't outsource. I like them so far. MT friendly and nice people.
Which MDI are you referring to, MDI-MD or MDI-FL? nm
What exactly are you referring to?
I work for Amphion and don't usually do unpaid busy work...so now I'm confused. As far as their line rate goes, it is comparable or better than most of the nationals out there. So, I am quite confused as to your post...feel free to email if you don't want to discuss it here, I am very curious...
What exactly are you referring to...
*all those demographics*??? It's one lousy number to type in, 7 lil ole digits...come on now, that doesn't slow me down that much. I'd probably produce much more if I'd keep XXXXX off this board for more than 30 minutes! So, don't blame the lil ole 7 digits I type in on the DI, cause that aint it...try again...
Not sure what you are referring to,but (sm)
could it be that they are no longer the little company - they have grown so fast and are so busy............is the atmosphere changing? They are still wonderful to work for and take care of you when you need something, it's just....... can't finish a sentence here. Still the best place I've ever worked.
I believe I know who you are referring to.
They did that to me too when I applied and I did not go any further with them. I do not know why it is important for them to know anything about your credit.
The OP was not referring to anyone in particular. SM
She was simply giving her opinion and I agree with her.
An impartial post would give the pros and cons of any given company and they all have them.
and that is what I am referring to...
She is obviously speaking up for her friend--what's wrong with that? And it doesn't matter why her friend stayed with the company so long. Maybe she was hoping (like we all hope) that it would work out. You guys have no right to laugh at ANYONE who wants to make things right.
Yes, indeed that is what I was referring to
I am glad someone is literate!
I don't believe anyone is referring to the OP
They're referring to that wacko who jumped in and derailed the entire thread with yet another TT rant and how much she hates her job and her company.
I don't think anyone is speaking negatively about the OP at all if I'm following this thread correctly.
I'm not sure which posts you are referring to
but I am the one who claimed the VR platform was released too soon. I never said I was making good money on it. In fact, I claim just the opposite. My pay was drastically decreased on VR as opposed to straight typing because of the sound quality and the technical problems. I did not make contradicting posts. I can't explain the closeness of the IP numbers, but mine should all be the same as I have a static IP number.
Are you referring to the co. out of N. Carolina?
If so, I would also like some information. I have been hired by them but the account has not started up yet.
Are you referring to the Sten Tel
There is obviously more than one Sten Tel in MA. Please clarify which one you are speaking of.
If you're referring to me...(sm)
I do acute care with about 90% ESL.
which company are you referring to then? nm
Are you referring to Sten tel?
This sounds almost identical to my experience with them.
huh?? what are you referring to? saw no misuse of --sm
there, their, or they're in any of the above messages. SHEESH.
Are you referring to MTs who worked for
SPi before the merger, or those who now work for CyMed/SPi?
hello -- I said I was referring to 2 different situations
x
I am referring to DSG in Atlanta, GA
...and I think those who replied are too.
Who are you referring to that has no work??
Can you tell us the companies that you are referring to?
I can definitely relate to what you are saying, but I want to know where you went that is better.
we were referring to the one who posted below you
nm
MDI-Trans ? Are you referring to -sm
MDI-Transcend? If so, checks are always on time (direct deposit), work is not all that steady, but this is a slow time everywhere. As for benefits, they are by far the best in the industry as far as I what I have checked out. About insurance rates, don't know because I don't need them. Hope this helps.
If you are referring to MedScribe in FL...
They have both IC and employee positions. The full-time employee positions are based both on hours and lines transcribed, meaning you have a schedule to stick to plus a required minimum amount of lines per pay period. They do have a 12-hour work window.
What posts are you referring to?
I'm afraid I'm not sure which ones you're speaking of, but we would not delete a post simply because it was positive.
There are many reasons posts are deleted. Did the post have somebody's name in it? Was there anything that could have offended anyone, thus someone reporting it as needing to be deleted? Was it posted by a non-US MT? Was it connected to a post with any of these things going on?
Please do let me know which posts, and I'd be happy to check into it right away.
I think that's what fatcat was referring to (sm)
Notice how she capitalized the word YOUR for emphasis?
Referring people
Please don't take this wrong, but why would you ever refer people you don't know??? The reason I am asking this is that in the past, I have done this myself and ended up getting really burned and just made myself look bad. Please be careful who you refer. It can bite you in the seat of the britches one day.
What company are you referring to?
To what platform are you referring?
I have this problem with Dictaphone Ex text.
