Exactly. I am trying to warn the OP about them
and getting slammed below. I expected that from upper management though. Bad company!
wanna warn us on who that was? nm

to the two posts above, i tried to warn you
sure, the staff may seem sweet. sure, they say they have work. however, boiled down, FN is VERY greedy. the higher-ups don't want the MTs to make big money. they only want ICs, which benefits them, and they do not offer health insurance or PTO. once again, Greedy and hiddenly uncaring.
Except that I owe it to my fellow MTs to warn them off.

Go ahead and warn 'em
but all too many people get carried away and make up all kinds of nonsense. I have worked for a few companies and do know what is out there. I have others to compare this company to. So, that sure isn't the case. Anyway, its a free board, post away...just warning others to watch out and to form their own opinions.
Happened to me also about 5 years ago. I try to warn
but e-Tranz keeps sucking in the new ones who either haven't seen the warnings or chose not to heed the advice of those who've BTDT. Agree with the poster who said that DG butters you up at first, calls you babe, tells you I bet someone's already snatched you up already, but that's short-lived. First come the late paychecks, then come no paychecks, then comes a long, drawn-out war with her to try to get her to pay you. I can't believe she's still in business after stiffing so many MTs for so long. Oddly enough (or maybe not), she seems to take pride in that.
Attn: Ex-Heartland Employees re: the WARN Act
For any MTs who have been laid off from Heartland or anywhere else, you might want to look into the WARN Act at the Department of Labor web site, www.dol.gov. There might be resources available to help you.
Welcome to my world. I have tried to warn others for over a year. Been there done that. Awful
They are by far the worst company out there. Dont forget that your whole check is docked anywhere from 5-10% based on QA checking your work from India. Hmmm. Never saw those penalties coming..It sure saved all of them money and you can bet the client paid full price. I remember seeing some of the work already done and all I could think of was, and they keep this contract because..... You would be penalized if a comma wasnt where they thought it should be etc.. and the line counts never matched. I mean how could you work 10 hours a day and be lucky to hit $50. I didnt know the difference until I went to another company using the same platform. I doubled my money and then some. Anyone who works for them can expect to be ripped off, definitely NOT the American way.
That would be WARN not WARM. But I'd try to warm your
Sorry for the typo. My hands got ahead of my thoughts.
