typewriter keyboards

The original Underwood keyboard I learned to type on is still in my memory, and I have temporary flashbacks where I want to use the old symbol keys. I wonder if this has happened to anybody else.
The quote symbol was on the 2 key.
There was no #1 key, we just used the lower case L.
Dollar sign was on the 4.
Underscore was on the 6.
Apostrophe was on the 8.
And, of course, there was the carriage return, which I have reached for when fatigued. The other day I kept hitting the 2 and came up with this @ thing, and had to think about where the darned apostrophe was. Hum…..Alzheimer’s or flashback? We also had a cent sign on the @ key, and some fraction keys.
Am I alone out here?

you can download typewriter/keyboard sm
sounds for free from the internet. I had to do that because it also helps me by hearing the typos. You can turn the sounds of the keyboard up or down but it doesn't affect the sound of your dictator. I think its called Sound Pilot.

How very professional you are! I bet you must be a CEO with that attitude! I am the voice of logic - stop wasting time complaining - enjoy life.

"Just get to your darn keyboards and work!!!!"
Oh my gosh, who are YOU to tell people to get back to their keyboards?!
::crackface::
Unbelievable!
I still cannot get over the fact that you said that. You may say that to your own children but you don't say something like that to an adult/s.
Where did you grow up? Heaven help us.
