That cannot be taken out of the country. They start at $13 an hour. Give my brains a brake, I mean break.

Corporate greed is driving it right out of existence
can afford to live in the United States and stay in MT. More & more of us are getting out. Some, like me, are trapped... been at it for too long (30+ years), and most of us are now what you would call the Working Poor. Back in my 20's when I came to that 'crossroads', I should've gone with my friend and learned court-reporting. So far their jobs haven't been teetering on the brink of extinction (yet), like ours are in MT.
I did mostly car accidents and it really made me paranoid about driving for awhile, but I sure sm
knew if there was a solid yellow line, if my lights were on, if I had my seatbelt on, etc. lol
The companies are driving me crazy with their similar names!
What is the difference between Transtech solutions, Trans solutions and TTS? Pl and thx for info. One is out of New Hampshire, TTS I think but I cannot find it when I google. 
Is $15.00 per hour without incentive worth driving back and forth to a job at a hospital? nm

No the driving force if the MT in transcription. Without the MT the technology couldnt survive.
I have done enough ASR, etc. to tell you that there is no way that technology could survive on its own or any other technology that we have today as well. The way these people dictate I guarantee you there will always be a need for MTs. There arent enough doctors now to go around. Do you really think they are going to sit there and type the reports or care how they look. They are working twice as hard now for less money.
