You are not supposed to post jobs on the job board
Again...you are not to post jobs on the job board unless you work in the capacity to recruit.
On Job Board, there is a job 5 cpl but you are not supposed to apply after Monday because the jobs
will be all filled.. I'm sure they will be for that rate. 
Guess we all can't be put on good accts. Gotta be there at the right time. Both of my accts.

How are you supposed to know when the work will be in to make up?
We are not privvy to how much work is in the system at any given time. We only know what is in our queue. This is just absurd on so many levels.

i have steady work, on wav accts
with occasional lull's. i could work on secondaries, but usually do something around the house that begs my attention. All i can suggest is being able to be somewhat flexible with your hours, and/or talking to liaison about backup accts. as a last resort, a second company part-time i suppose. but in my opinion, MDI-MD is worth sticking with.
One of my secondary accts has very little work , but they..sm
stat every blessed report they do, so I always get those immediately. It is TAT, but your STM can explain it in more detail.

Companies with new accts or sufficient work?
When I left my last job, the work load was on the wane and recent posts seem to indicate this has not changed much. Any good news out there in this regard?
I work 2 accts, always work available, pay as IC is good..
They offered me more than Transcend did, I work 2nd shift, work always availble, OT usually available. Staff is very responsive to questions, very helpful.

how are you supposed to work and watch your mail all the time to play a stupid contest?
Transcend cares only about the big pay for its managers and corporate people, nothing for its MTs. Pay used to be decent, is less than mediocre for that horrible editing platform we are forced to use. ROMs have nothing to do but yell at the MTs and invent first grade games to play. I would rather have had the $1.48 postage and $1.00 it cost for the mouse pad and strip calendar.
Remember the old days when Edix used to give the Drake and Drake drug book for MT week? That was when Edix was a good company, too.

I am not paranoid because I already do VR at another place. I thought the reason for the question was trying to figure out by having so many or so little as to how VR would work. Well, gotta go as time for me to start work.

In all the professions I have been in, I cannot believe how rude, condescending, and judgmental MTs are. These boards are for helping each other to make wise career choices and sharing our input, not to go around being the spelling and grammar police and making people feel like they don't know what they are doing. I am well respected in my job, have 100% QA ratings and don't belittle other people who make their errors here. I think posters here need to spend less time being rude and more time thinking of how we can all help fellow MTs looking for advice.

You can believe those on this board saying NO WORK at Transtech ! Absolutely true !!
Getting worse and worse every day. They are going to VR at a VERY FAST PACE, which pays so little you cannot survive on the money UNLESS you work 60 hours a week OR are one of the supe's fav's that get the better dictators.
There is always an excuse by TT as to the low work, but remember that doesn't pay our creditors. Work disappears in large chunks when were at getting almost out of TAT (if ever) so it is going somewhere.
TT is turning out to be like every other MT company out there - more and more executives/supervisors to pay and not a single penny raise for the MT -- much less provide work for the MT's on a consistent basis -- not near consistent basis.

07/28/09 for new MTs, FT & PT, all shifts. Are they saying the accounts are UNDERSTAFFED?
Naturally, the new hirees will be gooing and gushing all over this board again about how GREAT their accounts are and how EASY their dictators are.
I JUST WONDER WHAT THIS LATEST, YET ANOTHER HIRING BLITZ IS GOING TO LEAD TO IN ANOTHER FEW WEEKS. Anyone care to predict?  .

I am fairly sure all their accounts still have in-house transcription departments. All mine do. The Atlanta account you mentioned started the same time as my main and always has more work than my hospital, which is an account that has almost completely dried up over the last year. STM states they are saving work for their in-house MTs.
Wow. This board continues to stun me. I don't even work there and feel bad for the owner. sm
I have a few friends who work for Keystrokes and have had the owner do a lot for them. They make good money and she has helped one of them out of a bind more than once. Should my hospital ever outsource, I would go running to Keystrokes.
Why is it ok to attack a person on here? Why must everyone be nasty so often?
It seems that every company has people like you that come on and go on and on. Why? Don't you have anything better to do?
I would hope that there is a way for companies to be warned about so many of the trolls on these boards. I'm sure they talk among each other and know who you all are. At least I hope they do. As a hospital supervisor, I would hate to have you work under me.
