If she signed any type of contract, it stipulates you cannot solicit a job from any company client.
Of course that same contract says she will get paid on a certain date, so never mind!

Well, in that case, you could always go away......
No, stillmting, I don't giggle s/m
However, when I read posts such as your's I shake my head sadly. I've lived a fairly long time, long enough that I have a HEART and a SOUL (which belongs to Jesus Christ). I've worked hard all my life and I have never failed to stand up for what I believed to be right nor have I ever failed to work to correct things that I felt were WRONG. The way these MDI people have been dumped is heavy on my heart. If I could start a business and pay them all what I'm sure they are worth, I would do so in a heartbeat. Unfortunately it is too late for anyone to get into the MTSO business unless they have a boat load of money, which I don't.
There is nothing that can be done to reverse technology and that in and of itself is not a bad thing. The BAD thing is the people who are struggling to try to make a living with the paycut of approximately 50% for doing VR. The most DISGRACEFUL thing is that here in America where we have people taking pay cuts, losing their jobs, losing their homes, going bankrupt because of offshoring and nobody seems to care. They say there aren't enough qualified MTs in this country. I say hogwash. There may NOT be enough seasoned MTs who are willing to work for slave labor wages but there are enough MTs.
I know that I cannot change things myself. When and if enough American people wake up and smell the coffee and let the politicians know we aren't going to take it anymore, perhaps the jobs will be brought back to this country where they belong.
As for you, stillmting, I feel very, very sorry for you. You know that old wheel? The one that goes around and then comes around? Watch out for it.
