I think the pay is average, 8.5 cpl. They request extra help but rarely is it mandatory. They approve overtime hours when they need it but I'm not sure what they pay extra, if anything. I've never gotten into OT hours. It would be nice if they offered incentive pay for when they do ask for extra hours and mandatory help, but I've only seen that once and it was only for anything worked over a certain amount of lines..something ridiculous like 1500 lines or more. They're not a horrible company to work for. I think a lot of the companies out there, Chronicle included, could treat their employees better, but we're dispensable. There's always someone else waiting to fill our spot. Kinda sad.
