If you are referring to MDI-FL, I use IT ProV with one of their progrmas, and it works great. They have very good benefits for employee, but I would ask the recruiter about that. Hope this helps.

I work for Amphion and don't usually do unpaid busy work...so now I'm confused. As far as their line rate goes, it is comparable or better than most of the nationals out there. So, I am quite confused as to your post...feel free to email if you don't want to discuss it here, I am very curious...

could it be that they are no longer the little company - they have grown so fast and are so busy............is the atmosphere changing? They are still wonderful to work for and take care of you when you need something, it's just....... can't finish a sentence here. Still the best place I've ever worked.

but I am the one who claimed the VR platform was released too soon. I never said I was making good money on it. In fact, I claim just the opposite. My pay was drastically decreased on VR as opposed to straight typing because of the sound quality and the technical problems. I did not make contradicting posts. I can't explain the closeness of the IP numbers, but mine should all be the same as I have a static IP number.

MDI-Trans ? Are you referring to -sm
MDI-Transcend? If so, checks are always on time (direct deposit), work is not all that steady, but this is a slow time everywhere. As for benefits, they are by far the best in the industry as far as I what I have checked out. About insurance rates, don't know because I don't need them. Hope this helps.
If you are referring to MedScribe in FL...
They have both IC and employee positions. The full-time employee positions are based both on hours and lines transcribed, meaning you have a schedule to stick to plus a required minimum amount of lines per pay period. They do have a 12-hour work window.

I'm afraid I'm not sure which ones you're speaking of, but we would not delete a post simply because it was positive.
There are many reasons posts are deleted. Did the post have somebody's name in it? Was there anything that could have offended anyone, thus someone reporting it as needing to be deleted? Was it posted by a non-US MT? Was it connected to a post with any of these things going on?

I haven't seen any QA positions posted on the jobs board. I think editing in this case means editing of ASR reports, as opposed to plain transcription.
Referring to my post above --
My mother and daughter typed extremely fast from written documents as that is all they had been trained on. When I was in high school and before I started MTing, I could also type really fast on written word, but now that I am trained on voice, I can no longer type fast or accurate at all from reading a document and transcribing that document.
but I think what they're referring to is that at MDI
we have no set hours, but a 24-hour window in which to complete our scheduled lines. So I can work for an hour, run to the school for a commitment, come back and work 2 hours, run to an appointment, come back and work til school is out, stop and cook dinner and help with homework, and then finish my lines in the evening. Some days I can't even start until evening. It varies daily. My life currently does not allow me to work say an 8-5 shift, it's impossible. So this flexibility is very important to me. I think that's what they mean by the time clock, being required to work a set shift.
