Not here. Server may be down.

Sometimes it is the server
Other times it is your internet service provider. We have 4 computers on our network and no one is allowed to upload or download when I am working otherwise my speed goes to a crawl.
TT server
Yes, yes, a million times yes! My ISP checked my connections and DSL speed is great, all else fine. It's the TT servers; TT has sent multiple emails about server and connection problems. It has happened in 3 hospitals I've worked for and working from home, but happens many times more with ExText. I just save my reports often, recover them, or whatever it takes. It's annoying but nothing new.
Which server?

Server was down, but

Maybe due to server
I'm on #3 server. Maybe #1 server is slower/different.
Server down?
I think it is mditrans.com but the server appears to be down. The full company name is Medical Dictation Services, Inc if that helps. This is the MDI in Maryland.
Our server is not down
I work for MDI and our server is fine.
No problems with the server
I get steady work and my insurance (United Healthcare) is only $17/week for full coverage. Best rate I could find with any national. I have a flex schedule at Medware and work 32 hours a week. They are a great company to work for, very happy for the past year. Big change from my previous service. Plus my team leader is nice.
Especially all of the accounts on their own server...
Ichart to their private server, my line count dramatically decreased. I am sure they continue to charge the facilities for the Ichart line counts, but pay us for the line counts provided by their server, which are significantly less. That is when I knew I could no longer work for Outsourcing Scandals, Inc.
Transtech Server
What happened here? A short time ago there was nothing but glowing reports about this company, now almost daily server problems and no work???
Maybe it depends on the particular server - how many are using it?

Transtechers - is the server down AGAIN?
Tried to sign in to work and I can't get in. Haven't got an email.
I think to much on TransTech server now n/m
.
They also were not paying for using the "normals" available on their server, even though...sm
they certainly encouraged everyone to use them, their training staff stating "use those normals, girls, get those lines. We want you to make that money." Right...get those lines for OSI. I found their accessing their server very slow.
Server down more than it is up. You have to spend a ton of time with the
It sucks totally!
good luck - server is down more than up.
Insurance is very expensive, especially when you don't work because the of their server problems.....the unpaid work becomes more onerous over time and if you complain, they invite you to quit. And, of yeah, the Indians take most of the normals, sometimes all of it.
Any RAD MTs work on Client Server
TIA!
Depends on Extext server
.
Transtech Server Issues
I understand there are a lot of problems with Transtech's server. Going down almost on a daily basis?
Happened at my company a while ago; server down and they
I have a sneaky feeling happens more than they like to admit. I am truly sorry for TTers. This business is going down the commode.
All files are stored on a server.....sm
Not on the internet; however, it is a web based browser and you must have a username and password to log into the server to have access to any files.
The server is not the internet. The internet IE browser is just a tool to use to access the server.
I hope this helps clarify things a little better.
I think it depends on the MTSO server.
NM
Another good thing to ask is reliability of server. sm
Some companies have frequent down time. It is good to know if this happens and if so, will you be compensated for it or expected to make up time lost.
Sorry, can't seem to e-mail. states server not found...so here goes
Thank you so much for answering my questions. I, too, currently work for MQ, have been with them approximately 10 years. Kind of scared to make the change, but am tired of working for peanuts and heard MDI paid quite well compared to most. I do love my main account, but don't care for the cesspool I have now and then.
Do you still work for MQ and how many hours? I ask because I figure I will work for MQ until I feel comfortable leaving and working for MDI. Do you have to submit a schedule of what hours each day you will be working? I understand you have to have a minimum of 700 lines or 3500 a week, but just wondering how specific you had to be with exact hours you would be on.
You said Bayscribe seemed outdated. Is it difficult to learn and do most of the accounts have an automatic ADT feed or is there a lot to fill in? And you said you get paid for filling this info. in, too? That would be great. There is on account that I have with MQ that I have a lot to fill in and it so frustrating not getting paid for this.
Well, I guess that's about it. I will just wait to hear from the recruiter. Sorry so long and thanks for answering me.
I not able to send an email to you, info not available on server.

sounds like etrans- they also slow the server down
so that you dont type too fast. I had someone tell me that in the office before. I am normally not slow but could never get over my required rate no matter how hard I tried.
Yes, we have had server issues this week. Dictaphone engineers are working on it.
Have you never worked anywhere else where this has happened? This used to happen in-house where I worked too, at least once or twice a year. Machines do need upgrading and repair from time to time. And just for clarity...they did send out emails about the server issues and also about Jesse leaving. Get over it already. geez.
I use Meditech with them, but it is Client Server version. Not the old blue screen! sm
I actually like the program and I really like ShortHand but I converted my abbreviations from another program into there so I did not have to start over.
It doesn't matter where the server is, it is still a database and accessed via the internet
I have worked on Escription and also have IT experience.
