MQ may work for you, but after 7 yr and thinking for the first 4-5 that I would always for for them, I quit. I had a system for the various client profiles (ie, rules for individual client), that worked good for just moving between 2-3 of them, but they varied sooooo much, that it was a real pain to switch back and forth, reprogram your mind and still be able to get up any speed, esp when you're working on more than 3 accounts. There are numerous other aggravations now and it just came to the point for me that i couldn't be as productive or happy anymore. You may still want to try it for awhile and see how they work for you. You'll at least gain some insight as to what you do and do not want in a job maybe. Good luck.
