not organized enough

I have to agree with In My Opinion. I have dealt with Linda Kelley in the past, and my experience was not a pretty one. She was great in the beginning, but then she left the company she was originally contracting from and everything went downhill from there. We hardly ever got paid on time, and I have a real hard time believing that it has changed, especially since I have heard otherwise from current people within the last few weeks.
I will agree that if you get your production requirements and were there when expected she left you alone, but IMO I need to get paid to show up on time, first and foremost. If she ever gets that corrected than I would consider working for her, but at this point I haven't heard that it is corrected.

Not so organized...
I applied, did all the testing, was sent all the hire paperwork, faxed it back and never heard another word back. I tried emailing numerous times and all I got was that they were really busy.. Busy?? I just faxed my personal information, social security information etc..testing, got set up for the FTP file transfer and then no one called me back. That always give me a bad first impression and disorganization is my pet peeve. I wouldn't apply again with them if they were the last transcription company left. But...to each his own, maybe you'll have better luck
Just get all your stuff organized while
you wait to get set up. I like to have a ring binder to keep all the account specifics and company phone numbers in, etc. Use tab sheets and label them. If they send me a list of dictators, I print it out and tab that alphabetically too. It's just quicker for me and I can write in notes, like, sounds like Phillips, see Filipp or whatever. Plus new ones. Look on line for address lookups for the state of the account or accounts you get (whenever you find out). I use the State of __ Board of Medical Examiners' sites.
Never worked for them but they don't seem organized at all..sm
I had applied and spoken with a recruiter multiple times. They just don't seem organized or very professional in a sense that I would not trust them. Their benefits seemed great but I had that aching nag in the back of my mind that something wouldn't be right with them - that it would be a disaster. So I turned them down. You may have a different feeling and it may work out but with all of the confusion and problems that I had BEFORE working for them, I just said No. And, it seems like they can be a bit grumpy and not for ya. You know what I mean? Best of luck to you. I know it is scary switching jobs when you are an MT.
Personally, I think TT is more organized than SG.
I applied for SG, got an immediate response because I had been on the Escription platform for over 3 years and 15 years of MT experience. They told me they needed someone ASAP and asked me to the do testing that day, which I did....and then NOTHING. No response. My emails to them went unanswered, which I found rude. If for some reason, I did not pass the test (which was extremely easy), then out of common courtesy, they could have contacted me with a Dear John email even. I wasted my time immediately doing the testing only to be blown off. Very unprofessional in my opinion. That right there says a lot about a company. A few years ago, I did apply with TT, got offered the job and did work with them for a few months. I ended having to quit for personal reasons, nothing on their side as they were very organized and nice to work for. So, they get my vote.
Not very organized. Had more than 1 platform to work on
I had 3 accounts and had to learn new platform for each. I didn't stay with them very long. Found a better place.
MW also uses their own software, Merit, which is very easy and organized. nm

500 emails in two months?!?! Not my idea of an organized company. No thanks. LOL

Transhealth is very organized, great benefits..horrible platform
Maybe it was just me but i never made it through training. It certainly could have been a lot easier than having to open up 3-4 programs to get going. I found it to be time-consuming and in a production-based atmosphere, this did not cut it. On the other hand, maybe others think the program is wonderful, but I sure did not. I have used Dictaphone EXText and that is way easier.
Very heavy ESL on my acct, needed a Cphone, other things. They were very organized in their
