probably better money! Gee, and they wonder why they can't keep good transcriptionists. The line rates posted lately by some of these companies are absolutely insulting.

I will have NO trouble doing that. My problem is I need to work more than 40 hours. If no more SE, I will be restricted to 40 hours/week.
I do not really give a flip if you believe it or not.
It happened.

I've been in this industry a long time. Every company has QA issues. If you don't take it up with someone, they are not aware of a problem.
Every company has the right hire/fire/promote/terminate anyone they see fit - without asking for approval first. No one asks you why you dumped your last boyfriend, or switched grocery stores - or any other decision that affects your life. Why should managements decisions be any different?
Annonymous posts like yours are made to stir up trouble. You're out for revenge or just being spiteful. Grow up. Start showing some professionalism. If you were wronged at DSG, move on.
The question Info on DSG - good or bad is not your opportunity to act like a wronged or spoiled child. It's an opportunity to show your maturity. I don't think it's asking too much.
Glenn Beck will flip out!
I am sending to him also right now!

optimal - start-up flip company
Optimal readings is a start-up flip company. The CEO has been involved with numerous flips with other companies he's helped start. They are backed by investors with deep pockets, which it needs for the acquisitions they conducted last year and going forward. Because of these acquisitions, they've gone from a start-up in late 2006 to the No. 4 Teleradiology service provider in the nation. They've positioned themselves in an attractive position for one of the top 3 to buy them out. The major draw back of this company is the fact that their overhead is very high (radiologists aren't cheap, up to $350/hr) and they've resolved to billing insurance and individuals instead of billing the hospitals directly. Collections of this nature are in the 30%-40% range. While they use Billed revenue to make themeselves look attractive, their actual 'collected' revenue is significantly lower. Any company that buys Optimal Readings (which may be going under a different name now after their Dec. 6th 2007 acquisition), will be buying a money pit and will likely just liquidate their assets and adapt their clients into their system.

Didn't intend to be flip, just stating facts
I'm not in love with Spheris as a company, but I have yet to run out of work or even be close to running out of work.
No, not boring - flipping burgers is boring!
Be grateful to be working!
