for information. I like having as much as possible when I have a reason to need such. I have a reason now and just because I choose not to share it doesn't mean it's not valid. Had I been seeking compliments I guarantee I wouldn't be looking here simply because of these types of responses. Not everyone has some dark ulterior motive for asking an open question.

You say you are not on here often, but have seen many posts - I do not see many on D&L. It seems to me they are a mom and pop company, there are so many more on here that you see a post on every page. I do not think you have anything to worry about if you look at averages. I do find your post curious under the circumstances. Fishing? and for what purpose?

Seems like you could have contacted the IRS and told them the situation and provided bank statements that showed you didn’t get paid the 50,000. I would have done that. The banks send the IRS paperwork every year on what your interest is anyways, so they have a record of what your account has looked like. You paid the money for 50,000 you didn't get to the IRS instead? That seems odd to me. Who would do that? I would call the IRS and tell them what happened. When I file taxes through Turbo Tax it actually asks if you need any of your forms ammended. I would have called and asked for them to help me get it ammended.
