There is one on the job seeker's board.  Says Transcriptionist needed.  That one is for $25.

there are MANY links there to learn....sm

about the company - the VERY TOP of the page - I almost missed it myself.....but there's all kinds of info, FAQs, and contact page for any questions you might have that the website did NOT answer for you.

Geesh, you can lead a horse to water, you cannot make them drink it.

And no, I wasn't the poster of that website - it was your reaction that got me curious and so I went to that website and there is a lot of info there....only at the top of the page of the browser......

It is below but they pay links (ie CT abd and pel = 2 reports), and
specials are paid higher.

I think the range is 1.00-1.25 for regular reports and 2.00-3.50 for specials.
Not paid for links........
I work for KS and have been told that the hospital account I am on wont pay for for links. I guess it is up to each individual account?  So those long CT's get my goat up as they can be quite lengthy.  Am paid more for specials, but only get one or two per shift.  Been with them for only a couple months, like the account, like the company, but am feeling like $1.10 per report is not enough.  I plan to stay with them for a long while, perhaps ask for a raise down the road.

I used the Google search at top with MTStars checked. Didn't read them all, some old, but a start for you.
We get paid for links on the account I am on. sm
The specials that I get are all the shortest and the best. Ex: PICC line insertion. Right side. Give it a normal.

That may be true, but other companies use it. Med-Links for one. nm

I don't think so, I am making $2.00 per report with links.

Links EVERY AMERICAN should read
Americans are getting fed up with it. My fear is with a blended company of U.S. and India bases, that healthcare providers will not trust that their records actuall are staying in the U.S.

that I found for you.  Potential employers are supposed to get written permission to check your credit report and also notify you if adverse action is taken based upon that report, i.e, you not getting the job, and there are penalties if they don't follow procedure. I wonder what they were looking for as pertains to getting an MT job, a lot of information there that not just everybody in the world needs to have, unless they were verifying employment history, SS#, whatever.  My husband has to fill out a form starting last year for government security and has to include all MY info too, which didn't set too well with me, but he said if I want him to have the job I better do it, like they need to know if I'm a security risk for him to take bribes or something, okie doke then....while you're at it, why don't you DO something about offshoring so we can keep decent jobs here....

Med-Links and DocuMed NJ info
Does anyone have any information on MedLinks of TN and DocuMed of NJ.  I do know there are 2 different DocuMeds.  Most posts do not differentiate between the two.  I think I read the bad DocuMed is in TN and good one is in NJ.  I can't find much at all about MedLinks of TN.  Thanks in advance for any information.  I sent my resume to MDI but haven't heard anything back......
I just hired on with Med-Links today ... sm
So far they're very professional and courteous. Decent line rate, IC flexibility, and use Bayscribe as a platform. The owner is an actual MT and understands our work process. Best of all, no weekend work. I almost fell out of my chair when she told me that ... :-).

The MQ forum was set up several days ago. The reason you probably could not see the links
in the left hand column is because you need to refresh your browser (F5).
Ask for the raise if the account doesn't pay links. You may be sm
pleasantly surprised. I did and got it and it made all the difference in the world to me. I talked to my lead who said that most accounts pay links and only a few don't. Those are all accounts they had for a while, she said before they knew to charge for them. All new accounts include them, which is great. I love working for Keystrokes!
