I have tested for them, and hope they are as good as I have heard. Can anyone comment on EMTS and is it a good place to work for someone with a lot of experience and a family to support?

P.R.N. Medical Trans in Cape Coral Florida
I just tested with PRN Med Trans. They seem nice, from what I read on their website, and do not offshore, but I cannot find anything about them in the archives. Can anyone share? I have been writing and submitting my resume every where I can and also testing online many times, too. I just hope this leads somewhere soon. Until it does I am stuck with MDI/Transcend.

Hmm, WM has a lap top on sale right now
for only 400 bux. I just wonder if you can use a different keyboard and how cumbersome (or not) it would be to do that. I don't think I'd be able to type fast on a lap top keyboard

necessarily be a negative thing for the MQ employees regardless of who a new owner might be (same goes true for any company being sold regardless of the industry).

I was just heard from my boss that Keystrokes is for sale for $30 million. He was looking at them but thinks that Spheris will be the ones who will actually buy them.
I know that they are in the U.S.A. only. What will happen once Spheris buys them? Why Spheris and not MQ?

Heartland - Status of Sale
Heartland is such a horrible company, it has been announced that SPI has backed out of purchasing them for good!
Almost all in-house employees are gone, majority of my MT friends left! I don't think they will survive with all these employees gone.
I'll be sure to pass that along to the sale guy.
Ever feel like no one in the transcription industry really knows to things work other than the MTs?

business by the person who owns the business and the person who is purchasing it. She built her business, paid people for the work they did (does not owe anyone more than that), sold it and moved on. Why is it so hard for anyone to understand and why make it personal?

I received an email from someone about Keystrokes being for sale - it is lie. sm
Yes, the owners met with the CEO of Transcend and went to dinner but it was 2 years and it was NETWORKING. They had no intentions of selling to them and when they informed them of that, Transcend stopped coming around. I work in the office. Get your facts straight.
Watch out, this company is probably up for sale to Transcend.
Usual warning signs - lots of mls, low work.

Keystrokes is not for sale at this time, and there are no plans for selling in the foreseeable futu
This is a rumor started by someone for absolutely no reason. There are a few companies out there who have approached Keystrokes about selling and have been turned down. A few have been very agressive and do not like to hear the word no.
The company has been growing steadily for the past 10 years and has agressive growth plans in place for the next 5 years.
If you have any questions, contact one of the owners or member of the management team directly. They will answer your questions.
This is just another example of someone trying to stir the pot.
Not every company is for sale, at any price. Although that may change in the future for the owners of Keystrokes, right now they enjoy growing the company and improving on what they have built. It will be several years before the idea of selling would be entertained.

FANTASTIC COMPANY!!! Great people to work for who appreciate their MTs. Very very few ESLs. They will pay what they say they pay. They pay on time. They have great benefits. Very little turn over. They are only hiring because they are growing. I worked for services and hospitals for over 20 years and I can say this company is the BEST I have ever worked for.
Your quality has to be very good, and you must be reliable, but they will in turn be flexible to you, take great care of you and make sure that you are happy. Now CALL THEM, and FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF! EMTS is WONDERFUL!

I love eMTS. I joined their group at the beginning of this year coming from MQ. What a difference! I truly can say that I enjoy being a Transcriptionist again whereas I was stagnating with MQ. These people really care and tons of work. They are flexible on schedules. Great pay, good benefits. I can't say enough about this firm. I work for the eMTS out of Florida. You have to be primo on your transcription, however, as they only hire the best of the best.

I do not have any personal experience with this company but do have it on my list of potential employers if I need to make a move in the future. Somewhere along the line I heard they were a good company to check out. Sorry I cannot be more help though.

Absolutely loved working for the company!!! The people are GREAT! Easy to work for and with! Paid on time, plenty of communication! I would go back to work for them but have moved and can only get satellite....sigh. Otherwise, I'd jump at the opportunity again!

I have been working for them for almost 2 years coming from MQ. I simply love the people. There tell it like it is and are very supportive. Their QA people are all on the same page and you have open communication always. This is not just a company but a FAMILY to work with. I hope to be here always. Great benefits, bonuses, etcetera.
