We'll find out more tomorrow (4/25)
We have a conference call about this Ceridian screw-up, and I'll ask specifically about the Equifax thing, but have a feeling it's legit - unfortunately like all the rest of this.
Thanks! Guess I'll see it for myself tomorrow!
Thanks for the info!
I'll get mine tomorrow
The physicians I work for are throwing our annual Christmas luncheon and they give us our bonus checks then.
You'll have work today, but not tomorrow.
nm
The sun'll come out tomorrow - saw in my bank that it's scheduled to go through then. (nm)

I am glad to hear that, I start training with them tomorrow.

I'll check paper tomorrow, but not sure about Broward,
zz
I plan to call tomorrow for my password and I'll ask then.

Paperwork said to call M-F only.

Thank you. Hopefully I'll hear back from them!

Don't worry . . . you'll hear from t hem (sm)
a month or two down the road. I left huge blanks, too, then kicked myself when enteral/parenteral nutrition came to mind later -- and I had a preemie myself years ago! They called me about 6 weeks after I tested, but I already had my plate full of desirable IC work.
I SO hear you.. I'll contact Ms. Xanax for you.
.
sometimes you'll hear that there's a new account coming on board ...
sometimes that happens, sometimes it falls through ...

I'm not saying that they absolutely don't care ... but particularly if you are an independent contractor, it genuinely is not their problem.

Either way, the people who are willing to sit and wait for work will stay ... I've been one of them ... not ready to switch companies, need the lines to pay the bills.

I remember when, first of all, work was often backed up (and ALWAYS out of TAT -- the first 7 or so years I did MT) these were hospital accounts being done done by local companies who had history with each other ... The national bought out and underbid the smaller companies and one of their big selling points was TURNAROUND and they agreed to penalties into their contracts ... IMHO, many turnaround times I've heard of are silly -- ER reports and STAT H&Ps/Consults do affect patient care and could justify a 2-4 hour TAT -- most other work types could easily fit a 12-24 hour TAT with the option to flag as STAT.

It was great to be able to work any hour of any day -- now it's much more iffy and harder to make up lines if you have an unexpected down time. JMHO.
Anyone that applied with Kathy Kirby hear anything yet? I am wondering how long it takes to hear a
response back
If you'll read through past posts you'll find lots of
recent info.  Why do you need menitoring if you already work as an MT.  Unless you do clinic work most companies will require you to work at least one weekend day, at least initially.
If you'll read the archives you'll find out everything
you want to know, none of it good.
Tomorrow
you will probably be complaining tomorrow if you can't work because of Wilma hitting Florida, when I see all the other complaints on this board about other companies, I certainly do not have a problem doing 30 minutes of dictation on weekends.
tomorrow
we are to have a teleconference with, if memory serves, the president of Acusis talking about everything.
Tomorrow is another day.
At 4 cpl for 10 hours, that amounts to $7.20 per hour, less than the minimum wage in the state I live in. I am glad you have good days to make up for this.
Unless it is going away tomorrow, sm

I answered the question as it was asked.  You also did not mention that the platform will be a hybrid of the 2 and not simply Chartmatrix is going away.

So what will you do tomorrow if they
.
Hi, GP: Tomorrow is another day,' don't go...sm
You know that a lot of posters on this forum enjoy your comments.
Forget and ignore the nasty posts.
I know you'll be back, see you!
I said MAY NOT hear, didn't say you wouldn't hear. There is
a difference, and many people have said they knew they didn't do well on the tests, but still feel like they should have heard from companies and haven't.
Probably figure you'll want Way more than they'll offer, whatever it might be. :) nm

If you'll read more carefully you'll see
I was referring to AFTER she's missed out on a job, having a friend do sort of an audit to tell her what what was wrong with her test she submitted -- not cheating.
Tomorrow I have an Interview for a

Interview is with local BIG hospital, but will work at home. I am looking for questions to ask at the interview. It will be with 3 people. Head MT, HR person, and MR manager. NEED input, questions to ask, what constitutes good pay, etc. I have done radiology before in-house, but no idea where to begin with off-site pay scale.

Thanks for your help!

Call me tomorrow
Hello,
Usually it takes about two weeks allowing for an MT to give notice, our equipment to be shipped out, and you to be trained on the platform. Please call me at the office tomorrow if you are available immediately and I'll see if we can "rush it up". Please call 1-800-205-7047 and just say you all calling concerning the MT ad and ask for me (Liz). Looking foward to talking to you.

Thanks,
Liz
Tomorrow is payday
Are you saying that you have not received your check from last pay day? If you have not, please call HR immediately.
Thanks, Jo...I am going to just ask my lead tomorrow (sm)
As I explained to anon2 above, I am on Meditech with a C-Phone so the ER accounts on that platform might be more limited...but I'm going to ask..Thanks again!
Hopefully it will all be resolved tomorrow and
it won't happen again.  Something still doesn't seem right though.
Anyone know anything? - I interview tomorrow - please help!
??
That could change tomorrow sm
If the MTSO you currently work for makes a business decision to off shore work are you supposed to quit? If the clients accept off shoring, then all the MTSOs will eventually do it. Only the clients have the ability to keep the MTSOs from off shoring.
Soon can mean tomorrow or 1 month sm
When I'm reading the OP's post it certainly didn't sound to me like you were going to be left high and dry one day.
I have an interview there tomorrow -
can you give me an idea on the pay scale? what is their system like? benefits?
tomorrow my last day after 10 years - VR
Exactly what I am thinking - tomorrow is my last day - being laid off after 8 years with same company due to VR - The quality is horrible - how can they go from one day expecting perfect reports to not caring about the quality they get from VR - not working for 4 cpl - I'll clean toilets first
Tomorrow being Thursday
I'd ask if you could give them an answer on Monday, unless they seem desperate to get you started right away and make an immediate offer.

Personally, I'd make sure I called WMX before the other interview so I'd have a better idea of how to proceed. If WMX isn't going to make an offer, you'll know going into the other interview and can feel free to accept whatever they may offer.

Let us know what happens :-)

Let's take tomorrow off! While the topic is hot!!
I need a day off.
You know, I would hate for my job to go out tomorrow but
I have a safety net now, not in years past. Am at an age to where if I lost my job, have other income. Others can revolt if they like, not this lady.
Now work for me either and tomorrow.. sm
will be the same since it's the last day of the pay period.  I've worked almost every day this pay period while my family is off enjoying their days off without me:(  But according to TT, we should wait until Nov. when new accounts come in! HA!
Here today, gone tomorrow
The physicians just started training on VR/EMR a few weeks ago, and we were told yesterday to start looking for jobs. Doctors that I thought would NEVER edit their work picked it up with the speed of lightening.....Unbelievable..
I think we should ALL CALL OFF TOMORROW!!!!
Let them be REMARKABLE without us working for THIRD WORLD WAGES for ONE DAY!!! (For a career, as you say, we were college educated for!)

They're not suffering. They didn't take a pay cut from the FACILITIES. They are cutting us as much as they can to buy up more and more. GREED!!

WE NEED A CALL OUT DAY OR TWO!
Have an interview with Nightingale tomorrow...

Anyone heard of them??  I can't seem to find much on them.  I tested with them over a month ago, and they called today for an interview tomorrow.  I have no idea what to expect from them, but I do believe they hire IC, and they may pay by the minute.  Part-time is only 200 minutes a week.

I just started working for Sten-Tel this week, and so far I like it.  Things could change though, so I'd like to keep my options open.

I think I will ask my lead tomorrow...I sure hope so..(sm)
the only thing is, I think it depends on what platform you're on...I am on Meditech and use a C-Phone.  I think there might be more accounts with other platforms...maybe ExText has more accounts on them so they are able to give people on there more than one..I don't know how it works but I sure am going to ask.  I would love a backup ER account!
Interview tomorrow...what questions should I ask?
I don't want to forget anything important, what questions do you ask or would you ask when considering changing companies?

So far I have:
Flexible schedule?
% of ESL?
Web based? if so, which platform?
equipment needed? who provides?
How often paid? DD available?
Benefits?

What am I missing?
Interview with Diskriter tomorrow...

Hi all,

Can anyone please share their experiences with Diskriter good and bad of how they are to work for, how flexible their schedules are, pay scale, benefits, communication, etc. If you wish to me e-mail, please do so.

I have a phone interview with them tomorrow and they are sending me their test via e-mail tonight to do. I am currently looking into other companies because there has got to be something better than where I am at!

Thanks!

Yes, tomorrow is payday at TT, every other Monday. nm
x
Good luck at MQ tomorrow

Good luck to you.  I hope you have a positive experience at MQ.   I worked for 14 years for them, and I think they are great people to work with.

I'd call the recruiter tomorrow and ask what the
deal is.  If you need $$ now waiting until 9/1 isn't helping and my the time you go through interviews/testing with other companies it will be about 9/1.  They are hiring lots of people and I'm sure things are chaotic and you might fall through the cracks.
This is happening to me now, due to start tomorrow
with a new IC company paying 4/7 that ignored me once I was told I was hired. After two weeks and my prompting, I am scheduled to start tomorrow. I've yet to get a login or any information. I had decided to take the job mostly to get more updated experience on a new specialty account and hopefully make a bit more money. I'm not so sure about them now. Does the company you are talking about start with a D?
No Texas and will be seeing my attorney tomorrow.
?
interview tomorrow with Keystrokes

Any advice or suggestions?  Is this company worth giving a shot or are they one of the no-no's?  I am in desperate need of a second job at this moment and don't want to make a mistake...

Thanks in advance for any and all advice and/or suggestions!

Thanks for the response. I have an interview tomorrow
and I'm so stressed - not about the interview, but about making a change.  I have never done VR and afraid of not being able to make as much as I do transcribing, having enough work, etc.   I'm very stressed with my current company for lots of reasons and they have not been receptive to doing anything about it other than lip service.  I know I need to get out of current situation, but still the thought of starting over again is scary, plus you don't know how things will work out.
