starting any new job really is kind of overwhelming anymore with all the varied rules. I think the style guide could be re-written to be more to the point and organized. But i just highlighted certain points, made a few notes, and read and re-read them, even after starting for that 2-wk period. It takes a while to process all the info. I was already pretty familiar with the AAMT style guide. But if you take it slow, ie, keep working your current job (if you're employed) and start slow with MDI, it will all come together nicely before long. Most places in my experience are using the BOS on some level, so even after years of resistance, i finally took it to heart. As far as the MDI style guide, it is so much more sensible really than most 'client profiles' and from what i've seen the account rules are very very similar, because of it. I've been with them most all the year now and love it more all the time. Taking on the new platform is really a non-issue as it is so simple. Most times, 2 wk isn't enough to get a feel for a job. I'd say hang in there a few months and see what you think then. At that point if you still are having doubts, set sail.
