and professional; really, none of their business. However, I think I understand their frustration and reason for the letter - IME and IMHO many MTs do not know how to balance kids at home with MTg and this affects their work, which affects the MT's productivity and OSI's bottom line and reputation.  Really, especially during the summer, day care at least part time should not be out of the question for at-home MTs with kids.  Stay at home MT does not = kids stay at home too, which usually = can't get work done.

You people are unbelievable but then the moon is getting full and you come out in droves.  I like her sense of humor as well as her willingness to help an MT.

I am sure she knows the many personalities of the profession and is not offended which is evidenced by her remarks and good for her because if it were me, I would tell you what you could do with your remarks.  Trying to help you say by pointing out what was obviously a transposition, I think not. No one on this board is trying to help unless it was that recruiter. Apparently too many out there with not enough to do.

depressing situation for the employees.  I don't work there anymore, but I know I would be devastated if I had to take a drastic cut in my pay.  Anyone who tells you that you can do 2-3 times the amount of lines doing VR has to have brown eyes because they are full of it!

LIghten up.  I doubt the CEO of TT or anywhere else for that matter gives a hoot what us peons think, do, or say as long as we keep those fingers flying and bring them in an income.

to complete the required work week when there is no work?  Before everyone jumps on me saying that I am lazy, don't want to work, need to ask for more accounts, etc., give me a break.  I am quite new to the company, and I rely on a full-time work week for my benefits for my family.  I already have 5 accounts and have asked for more.  All are out of work (or so I am told).  I have four small children, so working all hours of the night and the wee hours of the morning is not possible on a daily basis (but I am willing to do what I can to get my hours in). 

I am asking an honest question here:  Is there no leeway at all during the extremely slow holiday months?  It is bad enough that I will pull in less money, but even worse that I could lose my benefits.  YES I know it is slow at all companies during the holiday season. YES I know I could get a job somewhere else. If a current or past WMX-er could please just give me some insight, I would greatly appreciate it. :-) I got up earlier today to get a jump on things, and I ran out of work earlier!  LOL  I ran out of work at 10 a.m. (again).

I got paid per line during QA but had to submit 10 reports at a time for review and then had to wait around for approval of each set before I was allowed to type again.  Sometimes I was idle for 1 to 1-1/2 hours after each set waiting for the go ahead.  Needless to say, I lost a lot of money that way. 

sap who hired on.  I think the statement is correct in that they only do overflow work, too. The account I was on was behind on discharge summaries for 15 days. 

I have never worked for another national so I have had nothing to compare Transcend to but I am happy with my choice and I am not a newbie.

The size of the company is comfortable and the people I work with are great. If I were truly being a cheerleader for the company, I would post my name too.  I'm not trying to recruit anyone. I just stated my own personal opinion based on my experience and was curious to know how you came to yours since you posted it.

I just don't understand why the negative posters have to be so nasty.  If I was unhappy with a company, I would say why but not bash.  That's not my style and I think its playing dirty.

Have I always been happy with them?  No.  There have been times when I wanted to just give it up but I didn't. I saw it through and have been glad I did every time.

It's my fit though.  It obviously wasn't a good fit for you and that's fine too. 

Poor MT!  Must be hard to be the lone TTD employee with no MT friends. 

I am the husband of an IC who has worked for D & L for years and of course I have seen the insufficient funds checks, multiple banks and seen my wife go through tremendous stress listening to the lies from the Marino's.  My wife is a trusting soul and I begged her to quit but she likes to give people the benefit of the doubt but lets face it when something smells, it usually rotten.  To you younger generation of individuals who are thinking of working for the Marino's (John or Donna) who most likely will start another company under another incorporated company be aware of who owns the company.  I have seen my wife work all day and night go to bed a three in the morning and get back up at eight and start all over again for a company who could care less about her.

A company that writes checks, knowing that there is not enough funds to cover these checks is guilty of fraud.  The new one now is sending out a check to an IC with no signature.  I can understand someone accidentally not signing a check but when you had a insufficient funds check two weeks prior which was made good a week later, and now a check with no signature then this is no accident.  Due to the insufficient funds check and slow pays from D & L I never counted my wifes checks in our budget since you could not depend on D & L to pay.  I feel sorry for those who have to buy groceries and pay the mortgages working for D & L
