not YOUR DARLING. I did not start this profession to work at home with my kids. If that is why 99% of the MTs do this work in this day and age, then those MTs need to get out.
Again, that attitude is what has brought this profession down. But I am beating a dead horse talking to a deaf person. Some people work at home because they want to work at home and not deal in office politics, not because they have substance abuse problems, agoraphobia etc.
Some folks actually have separte offices, telephones and work regular hours at home! New concept huh?
What has brought this profession down is not the demand for at home jobs there are many telecommuters. The thing that has brougt this profession down is that attitude of working at home while watching kids.
A good EXPERIENCED MT will not put up with any disrespect. There are still MT companies out there that value experienced MTs and treat them with respect.
I am not in a bad mood but I am sick of the whiners like you that have brought this profession to the pitts that you say it is in.

Sorry, but I see nothing nasty in mtmt's post, just
agreeing with you how difficult and almost impossible it is to find a rewarding and satisfying job and wishing you good luck.
This dire situation is getting to us all, we become paranoid, nasty, suspicious, confuse humor with sarcasm and irony, etc, and it's no wonder.........
