Hi. I rarely post but i just wanted to shed some light on the whole DocQmed inquiry.

I personally know the owner of this company and have so for a few years, when he was just starting out. I was already a Transcriptionist when i met him, but was already working somewhere and did not try to work for him. The person i know him as is very ethical and easy to work with and get along with. He is also trustworthy. if he says he will do something, he will do it, you can take it to the bank. He also has great business sense and desires to do the best for his company and his employees.

i would urge those that are trying to figure out this company to go to the website and read the history. yes, the company is fairly new, but i can vouch that this company is on the way to the top real quick. Anyone work for them?  How are they?  Worth taking a chance on?  Pay fair and on on time?  Do they have steady work?  Any info appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

To othe MT that worked for docQmed in Tenn.  I also worked for this company for 4 years PT and I live in the same town where Company is located.    I noted you had not heard from them in a while and that is because his work is down too.  I lost my PT job with him in October.  I know him personally and he is feeling the effects of the economy and hospitals cutting back.  He lost some good accounts, mine included, as hospitals decided to outsource to a big national and one hospital decided not to send any work out whatsoever,  making all of their MTs do the work.  So I lost that good PT position and now he is trying to keep his FT people work as this is their only source of income and told everyone else to basically let FT people have the work.  I was really a FT-PT person.   He is good to work for and I never had any problem with pay, right on time. He does not have benefits at all for PT, but I liked the extra money and  I miss that job now.  Hopefully things will pick up for him, but it will be a while I think.

Anyone with information on this company?

I am not the original person who answered your post, but I also work for Amphion.  When you are first hired with them, they will basically ask you what hours you plan on working.  They are hours of your choosing, but they just ask that you try to stay working that schedule, so that they can provide adequate coverage on their accounts.  They are, however, very accommodating should you need to change your schedule.  They hire both part-time and full-time employee status.  Very nice folks to work for!  Good luck to you. 

but by the time you wade through all the hateful remarks, it just makes you sick!  I am very glad for the time spent on getting rid of some of the junk around here.
