Hi - I'm the transcription supervisor for the Aubri psych accounts. I've been transcribing for 35 years but new to this board. We're not a huge national corporate conglomerate (just a nice family-owned transcription service) so I'm not shocked you haven't heard of us. I'll do my best to answer any questions you may have.
I think we're awesome - but that's probably not the objective critique you were seeking :D

It seems after reading through some of these posts that there are a lot of angry, bitter people out there with a lot of time to post negative things without any factual backup. If the pay scale is not a fit for someone, that is fine, but no need to bash the company or speculate about people making positive posts under a different name. I have worked for Aubri now for almost two years and I love it. As an IC, you can choose your hours and download what you want and all you are asked is to share in the good and the bad. We all work as a team with very good success. There are slow times, just like any other place, but there are many heavy dictation loads to make up for it. It all balances out. There is plenty of work on this account, pay is on time and Mary H is always available for help, even putting aside her own work to help any of us with questions or problems. She is the best there is and would never even think of posting something here disguised as an applicant, nor does she have the time to do so. This is a family owned business and the owners are so appreciative of our hard work, that it makes working for them a true pleasure. Let me ask any of you how often you have felt truly appreciated by a company? I have worked for a number of transcription companies, specializing in psych, and have never had such a rewarding experience in MT work. I would highly recommend them and if anyone has any questions, please feel free to email me.

Aubri Transcription Services
Anyone heard of this company? If so, what are they like to work for, etc.
Any info on AuBri? I searched
the archives and google, but didn't come up with much. Was thinking of applying for their part-time job, but need some more info first.
Aubri - my 2 cents worth
Forgive me if this comes through twice - I got sideswiped by the need to validate my email, etc... have not been on the boards in a long while! I agree with the above post, seems like there are some angry folks out there.... I've been with AuBri on and off for many years. I'm currently working part time for them (while managing my own transcription service company, since finding additional work for myself meant that I did not have to lay off my people!). I have found AuBri to be good peoples, who pay a fair line rate, and pay on time. The work is good, and steady so far (though that could change, 30 years at transcription tells me that!) and all in all, I'm very glad he had an opening for me when my own accounts started going to the Dragon, and suffering from the overall economic climate, etc.... I've been a service owner for 20 of the 30 years I've been in the business, and I'm enjoying switching back to more transcription and less management. I've been on both sides of this, and I'm glad I called them! Again, if this goes through twice - my apologies! Back to work for me!
Would appreciate current info on Proscript, Aubri, Transcend, or ETransplus
Would appreciate any information from MTs currently employed at any of these companies. Many, many thanks.
