as fortunate as you.

Some of us are temporarily stuck with companies that constantly screw us. Until we can find greener grass, just keep your sarcasm to yourself. We all have a right to vent. I am in the same boat as her. I will find greener pastures and then maybe not feel like this.

You are so-o-o-o fortunate.
Be very thankful. Thanks for the info.
Yes, I'm fortunate...
There are others out there who make more. You need to find a company that's a good fit for you.
You are very fortunate.
I can't begin to count how many different recruiters that I interviewed with that told me the same things. I asked millions of questions on my interviews...all the same ones you did about work load, incentives, health of the company, etc. I was also ecstatic when I took the jobs thinking that I had finally found a right fit. Unfortunately, all the answers that I got from the recruiters changed over the years. Everything that was so important to me and everything that I based my selection of company on changed. Line rate changed, account changed, PTO changed. My accounts would go from straight typing at 11 cpl to training the VR and retyping 100% corrections at 4 cpl. So I would repeat the process again and hear all the same great answers from the recruiters, only to suffer the same again in another 3 or 4 years.
I'm sincerely happy that you have found a wonderful company, but I don't think this is the norm anymore in this business. If your company is a large company, sooner or later they are going to have to make changes to compete. If they are a small company chances are they will be bought out or have to make the same changes in order to keep business.
Well, consider yourself fortunate...
I have had those problems, not just from here but from other sites as well.
Feel fortunate that they have not
SS is a rotten company to work for. Sure, they make it sound good, but they will steal your lines, pay is never on time, poor management, so and so. Do you get the hint yet? Read the archives.
Not all of us are as fortunate as Maggie
Agree with you 100%.
Yes, there are nonteaching rad accounts. I am fortunate that the account that I am on sm
has all American-born radiologists but I know that is not the norm.
There is an opening on an account that I do backup for. You might want to get your resume in right away because they want to fill that one pretty quick. The account is picky as can be but the work is easy. It is by the line because they have wordy dictators but it is gross line, which is basically unheard of anymore!
You are very fortunate. As I say, my days of jumping are over. I agree with you 100% but some
people need to do that to keep their jobs or good standing. I am at a point now I dont need to do that but if you think companies dont love that you are wrong. They love the MTs that marry their jobs, work holidays, work weekends, work on a second notice, jump into backup accounts that you dont know to help out bla bla. They love it.
You are fortunate. I hope you always have work and it stays that way and doesnt change.
:
I've had private individual policies and you pay a fortunate for bad coverage.
You either get stuck with an awful deductible or a policy which limits coverage. So, that is not always a good option. If you want a decent cheap premium, you get what you pay for.
Again, not true for everyone. I have 4 accts, all high-level 4, acute care. You are fortunate....
but that is does not hold true for us all.
