In Reply to: Do you think that 1500 to 2000 a week is possible? - anonMT
It is possible. I sent out a reply to your above concerns. Take a look. Please email me personally, so that I can get you directed in the right place. I hate to say this, but I believe the big numbers are gone (my opinion). However, there is a girl who makes 18,000 to 20,000 lines a payperiod, but she also works a lot more than 40 hours. She tells me she has an Expander that is out of this world and that she has normals for lots and lots and lots of doctors. My second account I just cannot get any lines on. One of my friends quit for the same reason you stated. I believe to get above 1400 it will take a lot of concentration. The lady I mentioned above has spent years perfecting her glossary. In fact, if you did not know this, if you are better with some other software and not Instatext, they will let you use that. There is also a wonderful little program someone told me about called L'Red notebook. I love that. You have to add all of your stuff to it, but all you do is hit CTRL F12 and it comes right up. Very helpful to me. Please come on our board and let us help you sweetie. We would absolutely love to.

If you work for TT, come on our board and ask one or two of the transcriptionists that work on your account to email you personally with personal tips for your particular account. You can't mentiono the name of the account, but you can use initials. It may be that they will be willing to share normals for doctors that they have or give you some advice to work with. All of the transc on the board are so sweet and willing to help. They could even give you their Expander they have created to help you. Just some suggestions. I wish I could do more for you. I know exactly how you are feeling. It is so depressing sometimes.
But ALL of us transcriptionists whomever company we work for need to quit fussing at one another and start helping each other out. If you can share your normals for an account or have advice on a particular doctor, etc., help someone out. Fiind out who they work for, what account they are on and give some advice, give them your normals, your expander, whatever. You can personally email that person, you don't have to give info on the board. We are all in this together. Lets help one another, please.
To: anonMT Re: Marilyn's
to post on unless you work there: Here it is.... So what do you think? She is going back to MQ or she wouldn't be allowed to post there.
Posted by marilyn on MQ board:........Well, I never thought I would say or do this, but I'm probably coming back next week. I went to a different company, tried working another platform. Nothing is faster than DQS. My first paycheck for 8 days work is $211. I think that is about $3.00 an hour - their system had some problems with lag time, knocking us out of jobs, etc. I have never been so frustrated in my life. The Q is looking pretty good right now. I hate ASR rate cut, I hate looking at CP's all day long, but at least the typing is fast and everybody is on the same platform. By the way, MQ insurance is a lot cheaper than others out there too. You don't realize how much better some things about MQ are until you don't have them anymore. Flame me if you want to, but I'm looking forward to coming back.
