You still don't get it ...

Look, the initial question was hypothetically. I'm not saying I WILL get 13-14 cpl, for goodness sake. I'm saying that is what I believe I am worth - with my experience, and with my work ethic, and with my ability. That is what I BELIEVE I AM WORTH. Again, the initial question was hypothetically (and, I assumed logically and realistically, if our profession paid what the workers were worth).

I don't see any point in nit-picking this, though. If you don't believe you're worth more than 13-14 cpl, then you don't. That's your deal.

However, I've seen several service owners state in various places that they charge 20-25 cpl these days. So do I think I could go get my own accounts for 14 cpl? Um, yes. Show me proof that any of the big companies charge less than that, and I'll rethink my worth.

As a matter of fact, I work part-time IC for a relatively larger company that does pay 10 cpl. I doubt they're charging their clients anywhere near 13-14 cpl.

Anyway, it's neither here nor there. You seem locked in on what's unfair in the business, and not willing to look at what might make it fair - even if it is only a daydream. Okay. That's fine.
