and it doesn't hurt to immediately start sending the resumes out, posting resumes on other websites, etc. Everything is a bit of a crapshoot and you are truly on your own. You truly can't rely on anyone else's opinion. Check out the MTJobs website also. You may get lucky immediately and you may not. But don't wait around if you mean business.

Yes, but do your homework first!
If you're lucky enough to get QA reviews, use these to your advantage, especially if your productivity/accuracy have improved. If you've covered for someone else in a pinch, make sure to mention that. If you've learned new specialties in the past year, this should also count for something. Certainly, if you've taken on new responsibilities they should compensate you for that, as well. True, the economy is in the tank right now, but like another poster stated, this isn't going to stop your employer from upping their rate when the contract comes up for renewal and those in management will probably receive some type of raise, as well. But, unlike some of those guys, you'll actually have to justify and earn yours! Good luck - let us know how it turns out!
Do your homework fast!
You need to get all your proof together. Transend will most likely fight paying your UE if they fire you. You will have your chance to present your side to a UE referee. You need to be prepared with dates and amount of work that was there for you on that date. How much you will get will go off of how much you made and they usually go back a couple of quarters for those figures, so if you were making better money last year you will get your benefit based on those figures and what has just happened recently won't play into it. At least that is the way Calif. does it. Go to your state gov. website and read about your state's program. It should explain everything to you and you probably can apply online. Good luck!
Wow, sounds like someone's been doing their math homework.
I bet you grabbed your calculator immediately after you read her post and started punching in numbers. LOL! And you all talk about Happy OSi'er having too much time on her hands? You apparently have plenty of time on yours too. Get a life!
Opti-Script is also a big offshore labor user. Do your homework.
