You need to job hunt

There are plenty of companies hiring for 2nd shift; you are crazy to stay with a company that allows day MTs to cut in on your pocket cash... cut that place loose already!

Job Hunt
I found an old (2003) glowing message in the archives regarding eScribe but the website url does not work. Does anyone currently work for this company? Would you recommend them and if so, how can I contact them?
Thanks,
Desperate
Job hunt networking
I'm a non-newbie with over 25 years experience in acute care (mainly OPs & ESL- I worked for a small company that hired a lot of 'fresh' people, so ESL from all accounts tended to be farmed to me). In any event, that well has run dry and there is no longer work, so I'm looking for somewhere else to be gainfully employed- as opposed to IC status. I had been with that company for 15 years and admit to being a bit spoiled as far as TATs- I had standing accounts that had disgustingly flexible turnarounds, so for the most part as long as the work made it into the office within 24 hours, they did not care when I did it; in other words, I had no set schedule.
Are there still situations to be had like this, or should I resign myself to locking into a schedule? Does anyone know of anybody hiring for something that's fairly flexible (I live on a farm and sometimes things come up where my husband needs an unexpected helping hand or other specific tasks require two people)?

I've noticed from the rather slim postings in the job seeker's board that signing bonuses seem to be a thing of the past (although I wish retention bonuses had caught on!). But do any places still pay referral bonuses? Anybody looking to split their referral bonus with somebody with 27 years of multispecialty experience in the Big-4, clinic, and radiology? I've not done any VR yet, but am willing to learn.

I'm just beginning to job hunt and I'm askeered.
There are like a gazillion MT's looking for work now, right? Why are some MTSO's still offering large hiring bonuses? I'd think they have more candidates than they can handle.
Do you reckon since the MTSO's do have so many applicants right now, that they might overhire just for fun to keep their TAT's down, and there will be a serious lack of work wherever I apply?
No, just your usual hunt and peck for lines day. nm
