thanks for your reply...so appreciated! If you dont mind me asking,
how is your line count daily compared to MQ and how is the platform compared to DQS? I am a high producer and am worried I wont be able to do as many lines per day as at Q (or that the platform will slow me down). Any insight on that? THANKS AGAIN!

Medware please read message before glowing reply
I've seen glowly replies everytime anyone asks about Medware, but on looking into it I find a few things to be not so great and am wondering why everyone who replies says they're wonderful?
First, top line rate 0.085 cpl doesn't seem really that great to me for someone with quite a few years experience in acute care.
Second, incentive pay only has one tier, so essentially anyone who can produce 150 lines per hour gets the same pay. It seems like 150 lph should be able to done by even a newbie.
Third, the way to get a raise is to leave transcription (become an Editor sounds like).
Fourth, they obviously offshore!
Last, insurance while lower than some is still not really good.
With all these added up ... how does Medware still end up being AAMT top employer twice in the last five years and why does everyone on here rave about them?

I just wanted to let you know that I did reply to their email.
I basically said that I found it very unprofessional to not even put the name of the company in the email. I also told them that 6.5 cpl is a very low rate and I could not live on that and feed my child. I told them that with the amount of experience I have, that was an insult. I also let them have it about not paying for spaces. I was professional in my email, but I believe I made them understand that they are barking up the wrong tree and that their payment practices are an insult to all MTs.
I got a reply to the email I sent to management s/m
so for now I'm going to hang tight. Most likely continuing to post on the boards without asking management for an explanation is counter productive. I always believe in going directly to the horse's mouth for info. Good luck to all.

Well, I know that MTs from my office have quite MQ and they dont post on here but I dont know how
many. I think MTs with MQ may be getting second jobs and just working for 2 different places at the same time which is probably the smart thing to do anymore because MQ will continue with this short TAT and as it spreads throughout other offices people will continually be running out of work especially after going on DQS.
You obviously have the wrong company. If they dont IM you, then you dont have it on..

You can email me the information if you like..First off, are they hiring for ortho? and what is their scheduling like, FT or PT, IC status or employee etc. I would like to find a company that is pretty flexible. Also, what platform do they use? I have worked at some like you were saying, took forever to get the line count and I want to work 8 hours and be done.
